I kind of like the whole weird outfit. It’s definitely up Ivanka’s lane and she has the figure for it. I find relaxed rich white Florida woman the most authentic version of Ivanka.

I have no idea why Ivanka posts publicly on Instagram. It’s really baffling. I like to think she is giving her children a more “normal” childhood than what she had and posting them all over the internet does not help me maintain that delusion.

After reading the designer description I think that’s less likely. The designer says it is a form fitting skirt made out of polyester that has a tromo d’oleil raffia effect. So if it’s firm fitting poly, it’s not standing out on its own. The raffia is just printed on the poly.
I love the outfit but for that price point, I would want something better than polyester.

Ivanka has a new one. 2 piece cropped top with skirt. Fabric has what might be embroidered flowers and looks like upholstery. The photoshopping of that picture is laughable. It reminds me of paper dolls and they just copy/pasted a random outfit into her body.

Well, I am 52, and I know my age demographic! She is almost 30 years younger. Why does she look like my age bracket?

What on earth is wrong with the lilac sweater? She's wearing something completely appropriate for the workplace. I can't even imagine what you'd prefer her to wear, nor do I want to.

I don't know why you're honed in on the purple sweater when there are a lot of other examples of her dressing much too old for her age. In my 20s (20+ years ago), I probably would have worn that purple sweater, sure. But I wouldn't have been caught dead in an oversized suit jacket, those weird pleated tapered pants she wears, etc., I actually wore stylish, fitted skirt and pant suits every single day. Key word: fitted.

Here's the sweater. I don't like the fit or the look of the false pocket tabs on her.

I watched a bit of her last press briefing and noticed (have before but no as consciously) how she bounces when she speaks. She's 5, 15, and 50 all at the same time.

It did not look old lady on the press secretary but it does look old lady on the old lady Ann Taylor model.

Karoline Leavitt looks very old for her age- kinda like Pete Hegseth. I would have added an extra decade to both of their ages, easily. "Old lady" sweaters might be fine for someone with a more youthful face, but not someone like Karoline who has a much more mature look for her age. That is the problem with that sweater. I didn't see it mentioned here, forgive me if I missed a post on that.

It’s just sad because it is otherwise a really nice photo of her and her son.
