Do you think her relatives are supportive? I thought it interesting in her interview she only mentions Vance’s mom - and she was the only grandparent at the inauguration. I wonder if her mother and aunties are proud or embarrassed - especially working in universities.

I think it’s also notable that most of the female lawyers I know now, as well as back in law school were quite well dressed. Not necessarily fashion plates, but well put together and knew how to dress for the occasion, so I find it odd that she keeps leaning into this “lack of fashion”. This seems more fitting for a scientist or artist than a lawyer.[/quote]
I think like most women in big law she doesn’t have a ton of female friends and not liking fashion is a way to differentiate herself from others. [/quote]
