What was Michelle thinking??

What/who was she wearing last night??

Oh please....

Well if they want to start comparing her to Jackie O, there's a long road ahead based on that dress ...

Least it didn't cost $150,000.00!

Oh please....

Lighten up!

I'm a big Michelle supporter but that particular dress was horrific.

PP, Palin didn't wear a $150,000 dress. How much did the stage cost last nite at Obama's rally? Obama spent $400,000 on his last stage. If you want to go tit-for-tat, we can do that. Otherwise, your pointless insults grow tiresome.

WHO CARES. Let the new president spend his remaining cash however he wants. It was a celebration. Good grief. WHO CARES. Did HE pay or did the city contribute? Research that please before you post nonsense.

I agree, that dress was nauseating to look at. I hope this isn't an example of her personal fashion sense, it would make sense that her previous outfits were selected with help from campaign staff--now that she's "in", we're seeing her true taste (or total lack thereof!)

I agree; the dress was a disaster. Obviously, the family was trying to color-coordinate the way that they did for Dad's speech in Denver(she in red and black, one girl in red and one in black, he in a black and red tie), but this outfit completely missed the mark.

And to make it worse, did you note what Jill Biden was wearing? Goldenrod yellow is about the worst color that you can put with black and red.

Robin Givahn, where are you???

Obviously, the PP cares because she made the reference to Palin's wardrobe. Did a city pay for Palin's wardrobe?

Does anyone know where I can go to see the dress? I keep surfing, and I'm not getting it.

The point re: Michele's ugly dress vs. Palin's $150k is that while Michele's outfit was ugly (I commented on this at the time to my DH) and not at all flattering from, uh, behind, it looked like a normal, run of the mill outfit that a normal, run of the mill person would wear. She wasn't dressed up like some richer-than-thou, priveleged fashion plate.

It was downright DECADENT in the midst of an economic crisis to waste $150k on clothes. Do a few rallies at soup kitchens or something and feed a few thousand people instead for goodness sakes.

And duh, of course we all know it wasn't ONE $150k dress. It was a whole plane load of dresses, many of which Palin herself admitted were still in bags and would never even be worn...

Also Michelle (apparently, up to now) buys her own clothes, not taxpayers and not the campaign.

Michelle dressed badly, Palin profligately. So Michelle, overall, looks better to me!
