Charlie Kirk shot at Utah Valley University

Anonymous
He wasn’t a Democrat.
He wasn’t a Muslim.
He wasn’t an atheist.
He wasn’t an “illegal.”
He wasn’t a Jew.
He wasn’t the French (and let’s be honest, America always loves blaming the French).

He was ours.

A homegrown, red-blooded, flag-waving domestic terrorist.

The monster we raised, fed a steady diet of rage and conspiracy, and then acted surprised when he pulled the trigger.

Yes, those aren't "leftist" messages.

They could be. The young people in the very online, niche meme far left can be like that. They’re not “leftist” to you if your version of “left” is stuck in the Vietnam era.

God you people are going to sprain multiple tendons and ligaments reaching like this.

Right. As satire. This is clearly another case of Democratic domestic terrorism.

His whole family and community is Republican. It wasn't satire.

It's about Epstein. Just like the Butler shooter.

You think a 22 yr old cares about the Epstein files, so much that he moved to murder someone that has nothing to do with it?

What the PP means is that Trump is using it as a distraction.

Nope.

So he was engaging with some really nasty right wing stuff on the internet as a teen and his parents apparently did no investigation into what he was copying. Great.

How are you getting that? The Governor of Utah at the press conference said the stuff they had found at the crime scene had anti-fascist writings on it. Those posts are all from 2020 - a lot can happen in 5 years. His family apparently also told investigators he became a lot more “political” recently.

You know that fascism is bad, right?

Can we not even agree on that?

I’m pretty liberal but come on. Charlie Kirk isn’t a “fascist.” He isn’t even a politician!

Fascism is a far-right, ultranationalist, and authoritarian political ideology characterized by a dictatorial leader, centralized government, suppression of opposition, militarism, and the subordination of individual interests to the state.

The fact that Fasicsm and Communism, two staunchly opposed ideologies, have the same definition, should hint at how useless this terminology is. “Fascism” means “I don’t know accurate words for what I’m talking about”. See also; “socialism”.

That's not at all the same definition as communism, but tell yourself whatever you have to to convince yourself you're not following a fascist leader.

That's not the point of the post. The point is to ask whether or not you agree that fascism is bad. Which seems like a valid question to me.

Not PP, but do you believe that marxism, socialism, and communism are bad? Becauase facism is simply a response to those three things. When cultural marxists gain signficant ground in attacking religion, family values cultural history, national identity, etc -- as they have many times in various countries over the past century -- this causes a strong right wing blowback to reassert these things, and you get fascism.

Pop quiz: was NSDAP fascist, socialist, or Marxist? I’ll wait.

Meet Charlie Kirk assassin Tyler Robinson.
A white Christian, Conservative, Republican male with a gun... again.

He was not a conservative. He was a leftist who said he hated Charlie Kirk and everything he stood for.

Haha, see? The right won’t be able to let it go, but it’s done. It will be interesting to see how they try to twist it to serve the needs of Trump.

Scream online radicalization

Children who grow up in very religious households are easier to radicalize- they are used to following far fetched ideas and believe things that are not plausible.

Just stop.

Why stop? Can you really expect great critical thinking from people who are misled into believing that a bearded man in the sky is counting their sins?

According to the bullet scribbling, he was Antifa.

And according to a slew of social media evidence, he was right wing. But you tell yourself whatever need to feel better.

Doesn’t matter what the social media evidence is. People can appear one thing and believe another. The fact that he wrote those slogans on the bullets he loaded to kill Kirk speaks more about his beliefs and intentions.

But you can go ahead and ignore evidence to fit your narrative. Nobody is going to stop you.

His use of the word 'gay' in a derogatory way is limited to right wing.

Ok, define communism. I’ll compare to China and Soviet Union.

House Dems should drop a ‘Charlie Kirk Gun Safety Act’ on the floor just to make Republicans go on record voting against it.

+1. His own father said he told his family how much he hated Charlie Kirk and all the reasons why he didn’t like him. He was a Democrat.

Who was a Democrat? His father? I don't think so. In order to be a Democrat you have to be registered as such and no one in his family was.

But who raised him? Who influenced him during his tender years? what was he exposed to?

These questions mattered so much with the Minnesota school shooter, why am I not hearing them now??

Raised by republican conservatives. Which is perfect really.

The call literally came from inside the house.

The list of messages on the suspect's casings, as described by Gov. Spencer Cox of Utah, include apparent references to online culture and gaming. "Up arrow, right arrow, and three down arrow symbols," as described by Cox, may be a reference a sequence of
moves on a controller that release a bomb in the video game "Helldivers." Another engraving, "Notices bulges OWO what's
this?" is a phrase used for trolling in online roleplay communities

I noticed you omitted the “Hey fascist! Catch” bullet that killed Kirk. And one of the unspent casings “O bella ciao, bella ciao, bella ciao, ciao ciao,"
