No grit. No resilience. Had an easy life and life ain’t actually always easy.

This is something to be admired?

Shameful and disgusting.

Didn't Jefferson say the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of corporate executives?

Well, he has a masters in comp sci from Penn. And a teen from a local HS that hadn’t yet passed algebra also figured out how to print a 3D gun, so my guess’s is it’s pretty idiot proof if you have the instructions.
My question is where he got the money for the 3D printer, materials, bus tickets, hostel fee, etc. I’m assuming he hasn’t been employed for a while.

Probably sold off anything they had. Nice jewelry, cars, apparently his parents bought him a house and he sold it. He was probably sitting on a good amount of cash.

They are mafia. Connected to the top Mafiosa.

*IF* that is true, maybe he did have a spotter, or inside help. The huge question remains how he knew CEO would be there at that time.

Wasn’t it earnings or an IR conference? That’s usually public info.

He sold the 900k house mommy and daddy bought him recently so there’s that. Trust fund terrorist.

And how is Reddit explaining away his possession of the same fake ID, an unregistered gun, and a manifesto lambasting united healthcare by name?

DP. They’re comparing it to the SB photo. That guy was the killer because he had the jacket and backpack, seen in the shooting video. Luigi was the guy at the hostel, but not clear if he was shooter.

Strange that the hostel jacket had pocket flaps, and the SB one didn’t. But if he changes jackets, and didn’t have an accomplice, where is the hostel jacket? And, then is the cab/arrest jacket different? If the backpack was full of monopoly $$, it couldn’t fit an extra jacket. Did he have toiletries? All very weird. Police will have to piece this together for the jury.

Why is everyone blaming the health insurance companies and not the hospitals and their ridiculous charges? Why not blame the doctors who are like “well I could save your life but we’re gonna need $60K to do it.”

It doesn’t make sense.

Let us be glad
Let us be grateful
Let us rejoicify that goodness could subdue
The wicked workings of you know who!

What went wrong? The manifestation of mental illness. He’s at the age when developing mental illness can become unmanageable. Looks, money, and an Ivy League degree are no match. Obviously, mental illness does not discriminate.

It's a bit strange to see progressive taking up for this guy when what largely precipitated this action was the dissonance between his heretofore very privileged existence and a health setback that gave him a little taste of bad fortune. He basically flipped out because he's had it so good and couldn't handle even a little bit of what broad swaths of the country endure for years on end. Ultimately, the animating factor of his action is entitlement and privilege.

Why is that a question? It's an easy way to denigrate him. I'm not defending him but it's the reason why. Dumb question.

It was already reported that the backpack had Monopoly money AND a Tommy Hilfiger jacket.
