So is this Ranking app, they both a joke. At least got soccer is very transparent with their algorithm and how they award points. This ranking app uses a network of people who agreed to pay $10 a year for the app to crowdsource rankings into the 800 range. Seriously? What a waste of time.

The app is way more accurate than gotsoccer. Gotsoccer rankings are an antiquated system. Can't believe you diehard "soccer" parents don't know of the app. Like where have you been? Gotsoccer is garbage. Whenever someone mentions rankings from gotsoccer, I laugh and it shows you obviously know nothing about rankings.

I know the app, it immediately lost any credibility when i found out how it ranks teams. I don't bother with any youth soccer rankings, outside the top 25 or so teams you are truly wasting your time. To think there is any merit to these arbitrary crowdsourced rankings in the hundreds is comical.

Say what you want about the app and being crowdsourcing…it is pretty accurate…it does have a bias to ecnl based off the added strength of scheule and the fact encl just plays ecnl to that helps the strength of schedule…but while still used more for reference…I’ve noticed when we play out of state or region and find the team we are playing, it is accurate and predictably is usually correct

It predicted 5 of our last 6 games pretty well. In the 5 they got one teams score correct and the other was only off by 1

6th was totally off, but that happens in youth soccer

The app has been scary accurate for my DC's team. ECNL showcase for this weekend just started. Anyone want to do the legwork of looking at the scores to give us an answer to how good the app predicts outcomes?

Who wants to look up the results and compare 158 games from today? The app will use this weekend's results to future predict how each and every one of these teams will do in future games.

Ranking app uses predictive data analytics from verfiied scores posted across leagues. It is the most accurate thing out there. Several years ago, the Big Wigs in soccer tried to shut it down by buying it and then shutting it down to leave GotSport as the only available ranking system. It took the guys 2 years but he stood it back up. good on him. Well worth the $10 annually. Has been 90% accurate across the past 12 months for our team.

GA Champions Cup is mostly the top teams from each regional league playing each other in a bracket tournament. It's like a 2nd Finals that happens mid season. Recruiters like it because the winners play on the best fields which are easiest for them to get to.

I agree, that rankings app is a joke. Got soccer is too but the pp said to cross reference multiple rankings. That’s what we do in college sports, you don’t count on one rankings system to be the only source.

Any rankings platform you have to pay for, consider it compromised. More entertainment and stroking parent egos that there daughters on the 5th best team in Illinois.
