Protests on college campuses

But Germany did not win, and under the conditions of their surrender they forfeited any right to accuse the Allies of such a crime. If Hamas wins this war -- and at the moment they are winning, with the help of American young Quislings -- then Israel will cease to exist and the Jews residing there will be forced to leave or be massacred.

If Hamas surrenders today, the killing will stop tomorrow.
But they won't. They know that the killing of Palestinians is exactly what gives them a strategic advantage in this war.

You lie, and you know it. Shame on you.

You wish to support a bs genocide narrative.

Narrative? 10s of thousands murdered as payment for the actions of a few. Hospitals bombed. New mass graves discovered daily. A deliberate famine.

These are facts not narrative. It is you who wishes to support a false narrative if you choose to deny the basic facts of what is happening.

A bs genocide narrative??? What if people referred to the holocaust as a bs narrative? Is this how you want people to operate? Lose decency and treat who don’t belong to your race as subhuman?

Gotta make sure you protest the right way otherwise we've no choice but to surrender all sense and morality! We can't possibly support those who threaten CIVILITY AND PROPERTY! That's so much more important than murder, obviously. One must follow the rules set out by those who hold power and who wish to ignore you! Won't someone think of the poor buildings! We can't possibly talk about genowhatever when there's graffiti and poop happening.

Umm, do you realize that this is not a US war or a US proxy war? Whether you protest the right way or the wrong way is immaterial wrt saving lives of Palestinians or Israelis. All these protests do is change American perceptions. And protesting the wrong way will not favorably change American perceptions.

A situation that is both numerous and sad at the same time. It will be quite the show when after a relaxing summer vacation the protestors both professional and amateur all show up for act II in August in Chicago.

This is nothing like Vietnam.

Unreal that anyone would equate this to Vietnam protests.

Yes, they are. The way the protestors are being demonized to discredit them and in order to justify the use of force against them is very similar.

that’s idiotic. the GW protestors were there for 2 weeks. it was time for them to go. they are perfectly welcome to get a permit to protest in DC or to follow GW rules about protests. clearing the encampment was a way to keep control of the situation which is the opposite of what happened at Kent State.

And they are baaaaacccckkkk saying
"We are not leaving” and chanting “Free free Palestine,” in the street. Fences similar to those around Capitol after J6 had been put up at site of encampment on GW campus. They want to meet with GW's President who has supposedly refused to, and what can she actually do with regards to their demand? Nothing.

So, are they getting out of finals? That's my burning concern. I don't want any of them to be distressed and sad, so it seems only fair to excuse them all from finals.

DP. Here are some more facts for you. Israel gave Palestinians plenty of warning before retaliating. Hamas could have made sure civilians were kept out of harm's way. Did they? Of course not. Instead, they used Palestinians as their human shields, cowering in hospitals and schools where thousands of Palestinians gave them cover - the very hospitals you mention. You support terrorists.

Ah, a protester came to give us her unhinged view of the world.

Well no wonder they have so much useless time on their hands. I guess getting a summer job would be beneath them. And not nearly as fun as cosplay!

It’s a generation that sees and rejects your savagery.

It’s becoming more and more difficult by the day to empathize at all with most of the people who are supportive of Israel. They manage to lower the bar for acceptable human behavior every day, and instead of feeling shame, they actually flaunt it.

It sounds like this thread is not good for you. Maybe it's time to go outside and enjoy the fresh air, hug your kids, pet your cat.

These are the families of Israeli hostages protesting their vile government.

There is no civility when there is such deep injustice and no hope.
