Is there any reason to dislike Herschel Walker?

Then there is no need to criminalize the behavior. Just forgive those who have them. Win-win.

She makes a solid point.

Her ONLY point is that she doesnt care if a man pays for a woman to get one, she is still a skank getting an abortion and she doesnt want to have to pay for skanks to get an abortion. So to sum it up: men paying for one is okay, women aka skanks having them is not ok.

I'm pretty sure the news about Herschel this week will make many of his R "family values" supporters like him even more.

Herschel Walker was an outstanding and much beloved UGA football player who rose to stardom after growing up in a small rural community with few opportunities for anyone, especially if Black. I think voters will cut him a lot of slack.

I think many that vote for him will relate to his hypocrisy, more than they're willing to overlook his hypocrisy.

+1

I doubt either of you is a Black resident of Georgia.

You do realize that Walker is running against an incumbent black Senator, right?

It isn't voting for the black candidate against the white candidate. It's voting for the better black candidate, in this case. So, do you have a black candidate who was a football player, but seems to have CTE, has a shady and questionable past, has frequently cheated on the partner he is with, had children with multiple women and has a child who is decrying him for lying about his past and being an abusive partner and parent. Vs a black candidate who is an upstanding pastor who has been in office for 2 years and does not have a shady and questionable past, but an admirable one with a lot of great achievements for both his congregation and his consituency while in office.

I think black residents of Georgia can finally stop considering race and consider the character of the candidate that they are voting for. They will have black representation for the residents of Georgia either way. They have the luxury of being able to vote for the better candidate rather than trying to ensure that they have valid race conscious representation.

I agree fully with the "content of their character" vote. I LOVE Raphael Warnock and don't understand why the race is so close! Mentally evil, violent guy on one hand and a pastor on the other? I'm a diehard Democrat. So I try to think if the "bad guy/mentally ill/violent hypocrite" were a Democrat running against a pastor Republican, who would I vote for? I'd vote for the Republican, or abstain.

I don't vote in Georgia but am following the race closely--this race could decide control of the Senate.

For many Republicans, “content of the character” just isn’t important. If they have the R and say “Jesus”, it’s enough for them. There are Republicans Christians who would gladly vote for Satan himself if it got them power.

I don’t know how Republicans ever claimed the mantle of Christianity and morals and patriotic values in this country. The modern party completely lacks all of them.

Looks like Hershey took another turn and paying for an abortion. Oh dear MAGA how will you explain away this one. All the Catholic forced birth crowd. Now two abortions you are good with the "murders" bec it's your candidate.

No one could make up this crap.

Religious principles are not absolute. As long as he will not vote for universal Prek he can kill all the babies he wants.

Did the woman have dirty glasses and a vacant stare?

“The only moral abortion is my abortion.”

There’s always an excuse for forced birthers.

I missed the forgiveness clauses in the red state abortion bans. Do these let you get out of jail?

The best one I've heard was something to the effect of, would you rather elect a guy who paid for one abortion or a guy who wants to pay for all abortions right up until the last minute (presumably for those moms to be who decide they don't really want to go through labor after the water breaks or something like that, because you know how common that is ). Then it's not hypocrisy, it's pragmatism. It's also evil, but they haven't acknowledged that yet.

The larger issue which MAGAworld wants us to ignore is the history of violence. Here we have the adult child of a candidate accusing his father of a pattern of violence and death threats. This is consistency with accounts provided by others who had a domestic relationship with HW. The man is in need of mental health services. This will end badly.

Walker didn't know he paid for the abortion then sent a Get Well Card to the mother of one of his children. Oh boy!

Who are these people? They could justify anything with this type of logic including another holocaust.
