Yes, it does and you know it hence the bolded. |

You can have it both ways when your party platform is all about winning and sticking it to the Libs. |
|
It is not hypocritical at all. They have consistently said that men should control women’s reproductive decisions. Herschel paying for her abortion is completely consistent with that. |
| You can think abortion is wrong, yet forgive those who have love or pay for one. People can change, improve, be better. |
,,,who have one or pay for one |
We don’t need your “thoughts” or “forgiveness.” |
Except Walker is a lying, unrepentant, philandering jerk. God doesn’t automatically forgive, and neither should you. |
What evidence is there that Herschel Walker has changed? Has he apologized? Has he shown contrition? Has he admitted he made a mistake and committed himself to be better? |
|
Completely agree. She does a great job of illustrating that the GOP puts the pursuit of power over the good of their country and, heck, even their own supposedly closely held principles. |
Exactly. Also, while I might forgive someone for being a murderer if they confessed and were repentant, I still would not vote for them to be a senator. |
Federal funds do not pay for abortions. |
| One more reason - Newt Gingrich who pioneered the ideological militarization of the GOP during the end of the Clinton administration - ironically while cheating on dying wife with junior staff member as he pompously declared his family values - just came out with strong endorsement for HW as a true conservative who has demonstrated his deep commitment to Christ. I must have missed the part in the Sermon on the Mount where Jesus advised his followers to viciously assault wives and children while conducting extra marital affairs. |
| Further evidence that one truly believes that abortion is murder. It’s just a useful culture war issue in some states. |
He has gotten worse because he is lying about paying for the abortion. |
