What's your point

3 years of existence and they have an ODP gal and a boy signed to DCUnited. Maybe they know what they’re actually doing? Contrary to DCUM experts who think otherwise?

being a part of odp at any level is not worth bragging about. Have you been to any of the practices?

Nothing wrong with being proud of your DC but ODP is definitely nothing to brag about.

How pathetic. Trolling urban mom boards to hype a soccer program. If I didn’t know better I’d think you learned this while coaching at FCV.

$16 million later they’re winless in EDP but at least they have a bad and bought a ticket to GA

If they can’t convince a large number of FCV GA and/or former Brave players to pay $4500+ to come play for them, they’re gonna be winless in GA, too. But at least the parents will be able drown their sorrows at the rooftop bar!

Aren't they for profit now? The way VRSC is described around here, they're funded by someone with lots of financial resources. To the point where they can just burn money to try to outlast others for years while they slowly try to take over their market, much like other big money industries where investors can burn cash while their competition slowly dies before they strangle the market and then turn a profit.

Except soccer clubs are generally not money makers. Show me one that makes the kind of profits that would be needed to recoup their strangling of the market.

Several "non profit" club owners are making 300k+ a year. Pretty good for something that's generally not a money maker.

Which ones? A salary for one of the execs is not profit returned to the business.
