I had this q too. Some PPs have indicated that FCPS will notify you either way IN or NOT

They do. My son didn’t get in last year and received an email saying he didnt.

Technically (as in previous years) they did. I have no idea what they're doing this year because it is a total mess.

AART let us know that our son didn't get in and connected us to GMU

I don’t care that it’s delayed but it should be consistent.

I'm surprised you get that. We found out when we saw a notation on her report card

We have one of the good AARTs. She also reviewed packets (at least in prior years, when packets were a thing) and told you if you could add anything to make it better. Her info sessions are very helpful. She actively makes sure she knows the kids.

It's inequitable, of course. Everyone should get that.

If we don't hear anything today or tomorrow, I'll be upset. But it's still the middle of the day, plenty of time to hear from the school or from the central office.

Congratulations and finally, someone with an email!!!!

Was the email from your AARt, principal, or an auto email from central office?

Everyone here who got a response said their AART sent out.

That would probably be because it is not the official release. I would be surprised if it was the formal letter that is sent.

The emails last year did not come from our AART, it came from Gatehouse. We got a follow on email from our schools Principal that include our AARTs contact info. There is a full formal letter that was emailed out. A week later we got an actual letter from FCPS that said the exact same thing as the email.

My AART just told me that the AAP office will send an email out today or tomorrow with notifications.

Probably tomorrow at 5pm!

I've been one of the "patient" people on this thread about FCPS being late. But, it's a bit ridiculous some schools are sending out information while others are not.

Exactly, “today or tomorrow” means next week.
