So for those who know, you're finding out bc the AART emailed? Has anyone heard through other means? I can't count on the AART

It sounds like FCPS hasn’t sent anything but some schools AARTs are being proactive in letting people know. Which again means, some will know and others won’t today depending on if the AART feels like it. Our AART offers the absolute minimum communication.

We don't have anyone applying for level IV this year, but our AART has already sent out level II/III notifications for next year.

This is such a cluster. FCPS continues to amaze.

I'm surprised you get that. We found out when we saw a notation on her report card

The least they could do is to instruct ALL AART’S to consistently let everyone know instead of leaving the majority wondering WTF is happening.

My guess is FCPS has mailed out the letters per the FCPS website info, and also instructed AART's they had the option to let people know starting today.

Yes. I just got a message from the AART that our child got in. Child is 5th grade and did not get in in second grade.

Yet another AART going rogue but congratulations. I am sure it's a relief after all these years. I am in the same boat.

AART did not go ‘rogue’. It was sent to ALL parents whose child got into AAP. The Principal and all the APs are ccd.

So only a few people have found out at this point, is that correct? The rest of us are still waiting?

Point is, some AARTs will bother while others won’t. This is totally screwed up. They need some level of consistency in at least the notification process!!!
