[Bethesda cyclist] Do you know this man?

Hopefully that shirt he was wearing will be a special circumstances charge. Subjecting the world to that.

You know who else should feel shame and guilt? This guy. For assaulting a child. For having an anger management problem.

Quit moving the focus to people identifying him or the litter or whatever. That is not the issue here.

Except you have no idea if you are identifying the right guy. That's totally irresponsible.

At least this guy has the defense that he made a bad decision in the moment. You all are knowingly harassing innocent people over a period of days. That HAS to be the case because they can't all be guilty -- at least some of them have to be innocent. What defense do you have for your behavior?

For all you know none of them are the right guy.

I can't believe he is still not found.

Sorry, haven't read the thread...has this douche finally been ID'd?

You do realize the guy just needs to lose the helmet, hide the bike, and have an alibi for his whereabouts for this exact time, real or not?

A lot of people "look like" other people.

Which means she may well be a teen. Doesn’t really matter given that regardless of her age, she is very clearly a very small, slight person being attacked by a tall, bulky, extremely aggressive man.

The guy grabbed her arm and wrestled something out of her hand. Let’s keep that in perspective when we consider this “attack.” It clearly is wrong, but people are acting like this was a vicious assault.

The word attack doesn’t need quotes around it. Vicious or not, it was an assault. And people seem to keep forgetting that he also physically attacked the guy filming.

An adult male between 180-200 pounds running after a young woman around 100-120 pounds and grabbing her stuff to take it from her it pretty much a vicious assault. Try seeing it from the victim's eyes rather than the assailant.

But he is out of shape and could hardly walk. It was three against one. One of the college age kids should have grabbed the bike and played keep away till the police came. No way he is catching any of those kids.

I bet he’s been found if he’s the person people have ID’d on Twitter. Just giving him time

Ok white man apologist. Why don't you just agree that he was wrong and needs to be arrested instead of spending so much time arguing the semantics of assault. Your priorities are screwed up.

Yeah everybody should be an Avenger and break out their hammer like Thor or do some CIA/special ops kung fu techniques like Black Widow. Especially kids cause they’ve seen the movies so they’ve been trained.

Upping the ante is never a good idea with someone whose go-to reaction is violence. The hard to hear verbal exchange with the guy filming at the end of the video sounded like the guy daring him to do something.

I would not even walk near it. The cyclists are extremely aggressive.

Let's be honest. That strava app is the source of a lot of bad behavior.

Did you seriously just defend this lunatic and gave him a pass for assaulting a child??? I have never, ever, ever lost my cool like that with strangers. He needs to seek help for anger management and suffer the consequence for what he did. Geez!!!

I'm glad everyone is looking for him. The innocent people will clear their name in a minute and go one with their lives.

He was wearing bike shoes.

It's silly to fantasize about what you would have done, if you'd been there.
