You're nuts. They're dressed the exact same way, body language the same, stance the same. If anything Meghan's outfit is a little more modern and fashionable, matching the Queen's. If Kate's expression looks repressed and scared I'd say that's because her personality lends to being a good doormat.

Age and the fact that the royal family tends to marry tall. Kate is 5'9. Camilla is 5'8. The Queen started out as 5'4 but seems to have lost 1-2 inches as her spine curved with age and she lost muscle mass.

Here's a good picture of her and Prince Phillip's height difference (in heels) at marriage - he was 6'0.
