Have you ever thought that the white people want to change the policy not because it will benefit them, but because it will be fair for everyone, including Asian kids? |
The difference is this - that while the Holocaust and slavery broke apart families - separated men from women, husbands from wives, brothers from sisters - the Jewish culture, b/c the Holocaust period was shorter than slavery, could still focus on intact families. The family unit and the traditions surrounding a shared religion keep people together. They're not privileged. That's a pretty sick statement, PP. It's called survival. If, as you say, ". . . Jews always look out for other Jews . . . " you should be asking, "Why is this?" It's something to envy. But you sound jealous. Remember that plenty of non-blacks helped fight against slavery, too. So what's your point there? |
Not PP, but... You are saying both groups had extremely similar bad experiences/timelines and therefore now they *should* have very similar cultures/behaviors? Is that what you're saying? |
I'm asking why one group must trump another based on atrocities from the past. THAT'S what I'm saying. It's childish and sick. |
You grandmother and all her relatives and all those who died at the hands of Hitler are weeping. You have learned nothing. |
Of course surviving Nazi Germany is not a privilege. I never said that and you know it. Nazi Getmany was Hell. The white Jewish privilege is what is going on in the present time right here in America in the year 2017. Chris Rock was right about Hollywood. The elite colleges are unbalanced also. |

Yes you say that because no one is ever allowed to point out anything that a Jewish person is doing that is unfair or wrong. They are the only group that for all eternity can do what ever shit they want and just yell "antisemite". I have had a crappy life myself so I don't mind pointing out all BS going on in this country. I did not vote for Trump so don't go slinging that at me next. I did date a Jewish guy for many years and got pretty sick of being referred to as a Shiksa by his family. |
Jewish ethic of education and strong family units. Give credit where credit is due. Are you know claiming the Impressive achievements of Jews, the vast majority of whom arrived here after the Civil War, is on the backs of black slaves? OMG. |
Oh JFC. You have too much animus toward the Jews to even have a discussion with. |
Ohhhhhh...now I get it what the hell was I thinking. Your contention is that black people have no impressive achievements. Well that explains the idiocy and audacity of your arguments.
|
Agree, and let's not act as though the Jews suffered through a single four-year period of horrific treatment, and that was that. They've been persecuted, enslaved, and murdered going back 2000 years. It all boils down to a strong family unit. Jews have it in spades. |
Wow. Your hatred just twists everything around. When did I say that blacks have no impressive achievements? To the contrary, you said to flip "Protestant people" succeeding on the backs of black slaves with "Jews". So OK. All the achievements of Jews - check out what percent of Nobel prize winners are Jews - are all thanks to the black slaves they exploited. Give the Jews a little credit. They emphasize studying above sports in order to get into top colleges, they value and get advanced educations, and they make sure they're established before having children. These are all wonderful traits. Blacks shouldn't be jealous of them, they should imitate them! |
1) Southern universities were only forced to desegregate in the early 1960s. I can assure you that did not mean that black applicants were immediately given "preferential treatment" in admissions. The grandparents of an 18 year old today would have been going to university in the late 1960s and again, I can assure you at that point that they would not have been given "preferential treatment" in college admissions. Marriage between different races was still illegal in some states until 1967 when the Supreme Court struck it down. That is only 50 years ago. The fact that the Supreme Court had to strike it down means that at that time racial discrimination was still going strong. I grew up in flyover country in the 1970s and racial discrimination was rife back then and quite out in the open. Nowadays the people I grew up with won't come out directly with their racial bias the way they did in the 1970s, but it's there all right. You think that blacks who were born after the Civil Rights era were automatically shielded from racial prejudices that were hard wired into whites for generations? 2) What Jews are doing differently than blacks that have helped them succeed is not have black skin that immediately makes them less likely to get a mortgage http://fortune.com/2016/07/19/mortgage-lending-racial-disparities/ or more likely to get pulled over while driving or less likely to get a cab or less likely to be prescribed pain medication https://www.theguardian.com/science/2016/aug/10/black-patients-bias-prescriptions-pain-management-medicine-opioids or receive certain medical services https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK220337/ more likely to get suspended in school for the same infractions https://www.usnews.com/news/education-news/articles/2017-05-09/black-girls-are-twice-as-likely-to-be-suspended-in-every-state and more likely to be wrongly convicted http://www.cnn.com/2017/03/07/politics/blacks-wrongful-convictions-study/index.html |
