So is anyone in Congress going to tell Trump the reflecting pool….

He should pay for it. He made this mess, he should pay for it.

The Reflecting Pool means absolutely nothing to him. This mess is a great diversion from Epstein. He’ll gut all of DC to keep the focus off Epstein for the next 2.5 years if he has to. He’ll return the whole area to swamp if that’s what it will take to keep his flabby old a$$ out of prison.

Perhaps Karoline would rather we talked about all the other things he’s screwed up? The economy? The Iran war? Our alliances? Our trading relationships?

Exactly! They tore out the Obama era filtration system that pulled from the tidal basin and filled it with municipal water. There’s your vandal, the green pool leech made off with millions, too, a true patriot.

Also, they need to drop charges on the folks they arrested. A properly applied sealant coating shouldn't be able to just be pulled up by someone with their bare hands. It's clear that it's separating on its own. I hope the people who got arrested sue Trump for false arrest and defamation, given his unhinged attacks calling them "radical lunatics" and falsely accusing them of vandalism.

Trump hemorrhages money. The spending is out of control and none of it was necessary. Republicans love running up the debt.

Is everyone conveniently forgetting about the carved 86 47 into the bottom of the reflecting pool? You speak of vandalism as if it didn’t happen, rolling to your own “isms”.

You are conflating two different incidents. Nobody carved 86 47 into the reflecting pool. It was imprinted in grass.

You are correct - my bad. Wrong location, right sentiment. Corrosive chemicals were used to imprint 86 47 into the grass by deranged individual(s). Vandalization occurred, did it not?

In the grass, yes. I don’t think they’ve determined what was used yet, though. Nevertheless, we’re talking about the pool now, not the grass.

And? How does this relate to Trump falsely arresting people over his slumlord pool makeover?

Is this some whataboutism to excuse arresting people from grabbing chunks of paint flake litter out of the pool after the administration dumped tons of peroxide in it? Hm, sounds like it.

Back to the pool.

Link?

The 86 47 is in the grass between the washington monument and 14th Street.

equating some markings in grass with the devastation being wrought on the ellipse, mall, white house, kenedy center, institute for peace and reflecting pool is not a horse you want to try to ride.

Imagine complaining about some dead grass after Trump did this:
