Plenty of people can have successful careers while still being present for their spouse and kids.

Recognizing that celebrities are different, they get a bit of a pass…to a certain extent. But there is a limit. Practically speaking, being a present parent should not have been too hard for either of them given they had kids later in life after establishing their careers. But as most posters have said, Kidman took on way too much work. Work is obviously her priority. Why would any wife/mother want the world to believe work is her priority?

She’s in charge of her reputation and public perception. If most people believe she is a workaholic who prioritizes visibility/money/easy access to hot young men and that’s what drives her to take on countless projects a year, then that is on her and her overexposure. That has nothing to do with misogyny or sexism.

Kidman has never given off a normal vibe. Lots of celebs have issues. It’s rare to find a selfless person in the Hollywood industry.

Anyway, he’s the one who moved out or was kicked out. He obviously did something or just didn’t want to be married anymore. Fwiw, if it’s the latter, then that’s not a big deal. Plenty of couples have an end date, and there’s nothing wrong with moving on. What’s the alternative? You can’t make someone love you. That’s just not how it works.

As someone who has been through divorce w/child custody and currently co-parenting, this tells me all I need to know:

A Child Support Worksheet seen by the Daily Mail shows that neither party will receive monthly child support as Keith has 'already prepaid all child support obligations'.

The former couple have also waived spousal support, and agreed to split court costs evenly.

They have already agreed on a parenting plan in which Kidman gets 306 days while Urban receives 59.

Urban will have the kids from 10am on Saturdays to 6pm on Sundays every other weekend, while Kidman will care for them the rest of the time.

The estranged couple have also divvied up the special occasions they will each spend with their daughters: Kidman will have them on Mother's Day and Easter, while Urban will get them on Father's Day and Thanksgiving.

Elsewhere, the document specifies that the pair will make major decisions regarding their daughters together, including educational and extracurricular activities.
