Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS)

It is very simple:
Title IX prevents sex discrimination. It says nothing about "gender identity." That is a "social construct" by some. Not all. Therefore, it is not generally socially accepted. |
Wrong again! Not all boys have penises. |
That’s fine but nobody on this thread has the guts to say any of this transphobic nonsense in public, which is telling. |
Lorena Bobbitt says this is true. |
I do. But most people would call me maga. I’m not but in public, democrats aren’t just cowards, they are vicious and adopt a group think where it’s us versus them. They shut down meaningful debate. Not interested in talking about many failings FCPS. It always devolved to something about Trump. It’s a deflection of course but the result is the school board gets away with destroying one the best school districts in the country and the kids suffer. |
| Pp here and the reason I’m willing to say it in public is not because I’m trans phobic at all. I firmly believe I don’t care with adults. But medical interventions for kids identifying as trans is basically permanent and irreversible child abuse and for me child abuse is a hard no. You can call me MAGA all day but maga is a better title than child abuser, but I think many democrats would disagree. |
“Settled science” Let us know when males start producing female gametes. |
In fact, an Arlington County judge yesterday refused Richard Cox’s request to have the prosecutor stop calling him a man and using male pronouns, just because he says he’s a woman. So yeah, the tide is turning and people have had it up to here with this nonsense. And the FCPS school board and Reid should be ashamed for the lack of guardrails they’ve put in place for children and girls. You cant let children do whatever they want because of their feelings. |
Says who? I will sing it from the tops of buildings. If I knew who you were I’d come to your house and tell you to your face. There is nothing embarrassing about believing in biology. |
We are aware that there are same sex attracted cis girls in the women’s locker room. Biological males pretending be transgender is something different. Further, biological males are generally much stronger, bigger, and able (and statistically more likely) to sexually assault biological women than lesbian girl. I don’t want my daughter sexually assaulted at FCPS. How do you not understand or care about that? How is that less important to you than a transgender being allowed in the girls locker room? |
Being trans is a medical condition. The treatment is hormones and in some cases, surgeries and also counseling. The reasonable accommodation for these individuals at schools and other public places is the use of a single-sex restroom or changing facility. It doesn’t matter as much if you’re going into a large women’s restroom at the mall or whatever, of course. Everyone just uses stalls and there is more privacy so no one knows what’s in a person’s pants. But where changing clothes in front of others is involved - there should be more separation. That’s not “separate but equal,” that’s a medical accommodation. And that way, biological women and real trans girls/students are protected from pretenders who just want to gawk at them. The longer term solution is to redesign all the restrooms and locker rooms in facilities to have full, floor to ceiling doors for stalls (both changing and toilets), and then have all the sinks out in the open and make every facility gender neutral. Some new and redesigned/remodeled high schools are already moving to this model. You can make the facilities more open this way and it decreases student misbehavior in the bathrooms and everyone is using the same facilities so no one can complain. |
There is like 100+ girls at a time changing in any given PE locker room. Individual stalls in high school locker rooms is such an impractical, expensive non solution to accomodate people who could easily be accomodated through sensible means that don't allow a single male, no matter how he dresses or how he feels at any given moment into female intimate spaces like locker rooms. And for what it is worth, the Loudoun County high school girl who was raped by a boy taking advantage of the current trans bathroom culture in northern Virginia schools was raped in a bathroom with stall doors. In spite of that rape in a school bathroom by a trangender boy claiming to be a gender fluid girl, LCPS is still fighting to keep allowing boys in girls intimate spaces, including suspending two boys who were recorded inside the boys locker room by a trans girl claiming to be a boy, while they were getting dressed, because they were filmed discussing how uncomfortable they were with the girl in there while they were changing. So in northern Virginia, kids now get suspended for speaking out when they are being sexually harassed and violated, and against being filmed in intimate, supposedly protected spaces? Is that where we are at now? How many more girls getting raped like the LCPS student has to occur before FCPS, LCPS and all northern Virginia leadership grows a background and stops this nonsense? How many kids are they willing to suspend over bravely speaking out against this nonsense? I would think that one girl getting raped at school in the bathroom by a boy claiming to be gender fluid would be one too many, by it appears that school leadership in northern Virginia views her rape as a necessary sacrifice to the cause. Where is their common sense? Why are they wasting millions of dollars on this losing political issue? |
Thank you for stating this very clearly, I feel the same way. |
It is mental condition, not a physical one. I agree that they need a gender neutral changing/bathroom area and if they don't want to use that bathroom, then they should use the one of their biological gender, we shouldn't have 6'2 200+ lbs boys with penis anywhere near girls that are changing. It puts the girls at risk because there is no way to prove that the boy isn't faking it. |
