Capital Blue 27 and 28 have both played and I believe lost to B teams this summer. Heros White is the B team of Heros, correct?

Easy to look up, and not accurate. Cap Blue 2028 has not lost to--or even played--any B teams.
Ok, pops. These are the original quotes in discussion. 2 people.
You want to believe the 1st one doesn't matter with regard to the 2nd. It was a direct reply. That's not how any of this works. It matters. As I said at the top, you haven't any idea what context means and what you're supposed to infer as a result. Actually, I do think you know, but... well I have no idea why you're on this crusade to pretend otherwise.

Anyway, the natives are restless on this, so maybe signing off.

You folks are arguing past each other. Yes, it is correct. Also, it doesn't much matter. Both correct.

Saying “Cap Blue 2028 has not lost to--or even played--any B teams.” Is definitive and you y stating it that way you are saying that it is fact that is has never happened period end of discussion.

Apparently what you really were wanting the say was that Cap Blue 2028 has not lost to--or even played--any B teams this summer. That would be true but the omitting of those two words this and summer makes a difference in how the statement reads.

Enough, please. You are both morons, and it's boring. I think the rest of us would agree on that.

For the love of god, why dont you two just agree to disagree and move on. Or better yet, meet in person and have this convo in face to face and spare all of us this back and forth for 7+ hours.

I pray it’s a couple of 15 year olds going back and forth and not adults.

If your player likes a school where they know a player on the college team or recruited, have your player let those college players or recruits know so they can also put in the good word or help get your player on the radar. The college players and recruits are usually asked to attend a prospect camp to help run it, and new recruits actually play at it usually. This is another way to help get on the radar. I had my daughter direct message and reach out to players that were at the schools that she knew to tell them how much she loved the school and that she was coming to a prospect camp. When she got there, several players working the prospect camp and the coach knew her name, and they put her in the top group and field.

Great info on her facebook page.

Copied from her FB page below:

The 2025-26 NCAA D1 wlax recruiting calendar is out. Some things to note as we head into August, there are a lot of restrictions to be aware of (D1 only):

August 1st to August 14th is a recruiting SHUTDOWN where no form of recruiting is permissible.

Then we roll into a quiet period August 15th to 27th - only on campus events allowed.

On August 28th we transition to a dead period as we approach the September 1st D1 contact date.

September 1 being a dead period does not mean coaches can’t reach out to players on that day, it means the communication can’t be in-person, so no visits until the 4th.

As you prepare for post Sept. 1 activities, it’s a good idea to have a list of prospect events and a plan B of schools with your intended major and/or in the same ranking range as any schools who may have confirmed interest in you through your club coach or recruiting coordinator.

However you may want to hold off on registering for fall prospect events until after Sept. 1st unless you have confirmed interest from those schools and they are a good match for you.

Control your controllables!

Be sure to reference the NCAA’s website for the latest calendar.

How revealing is “interest” emails to your club from coaches?

I hear some schools just really don’t reveal interest to anyone.

Unlike football, who can make “offers” anytime, lax can’t but football offers are not actually offers, it does not mean they will accept your commitment after an offer. So to me interest is like soft offers. They may have many kids get this feedback.

As a parent I like knowing which schools have interest so I can do homework on them.

General interest in early July is akin to saying your DD is on their list of 100+ girls. For some schools that’s likely 200+.
So it’s basically nothing until it becomes “something” on 9/1. Straight math, there’s a less than 1% chance at this point.

Since coaches are on the road they aren’t giving feedback to every club coach that reaches out. Sometimes the timing of when a club coach’s text or email lands in their phone matters. Many don’t get an immediate response. Not receiving interest doesn’t mean they aren’t interested in your DD.

She’s in the homestretch of events. Keep her mentally and physically healthy. Hope she plays out of her mind in every time she steps on the field.

June and July interest is pretty meaningless. Late July / early August feedback is a bit more telling, since lists tend to be shorter but still nothing to bank on. For most schools, coaching staffs don't sit around and formally talk about recruits until August. So if one coach really likes you, you may be on a list, but the head coach could still be looking for something else so you never really had a chance. We've found that smaller school lists tend to be a bit more accurate since once you get outside the top 3 conferences, head coaches are doing a majority of the recruiting themselves.

In my older daughter's experience, the best indicators of interest ahead of 9/1 are a) pulling transcripts in sportsrecruits (since it can't be done anonymously) b) actual attendance at games and c) watching all of your film, not just most recent. A and C usually don't happen until late August.

Don't worry about attending August prospect days for schools who may be interested. If a prospect day is a big deal for a school, they will let your club coach know. Most don't care that much, especially if you play on a top team they have watched play 12 times since November.

True. Especially for schools outside the top 30. They don't want club directors sharing their interest with higher ranked school

As mentioned, control the controllables. Interest is great, but in the end means very little. With my 2025, she was told, "Delaware has you as one of their top girls, have you reached out?" She didn't have Delaware on her list, BUT since we wanted to cast that wide net, she reached out. Sept 1 comes, and ZERO contact from Delaware (which was fine, but obviously weird). The school she committed to, texted at midnight Sept 1, and had a visit the first weekend. They NEVER reached out to her club.

Come Sept 1, remember these things:
Your Kid will NOT be contacted by schools you're sure will reach out.
Your Kid WILL be contacted by schools you had no idea were interested.
Your kid will find the best place. Be open. Take visits to schools you weren't thinking about. You never know how that could change things.

Best of luck to you 27s as you get to the last month pre Sept 1! It will all work out.

Very well said.
