You want to believe the 1st one doesn't matter with regard to the 2nd.  It was a direct reply.  That's not how any of this works.  It matters.  As I said at the top, you haven't any idea what context means and what you're supposed to infer as a result.  Actually, I do think you know, but... well I have no idea why you're on this crusade to pretend otherwise.

Saying “Cap Blue 2028 has not lost to--or even played--any B teams.”  Is definitive and you  y stating it that way you are saying that it is fact that is has never happened period end of discussion.

Apparently what you really were wanting the say was that Cap Blue 2028 has not lost to--or even played--any B teams [b]this summer[/b]. That would be true but the omitting of those two words this and summer makes a difference in how the statement reads.
