Oakridge Principal

Seems as if the building already had culture issues. Or continues to do so?

Yes and yes. Due to its leadership.

What type of culture issues? I know a few people who work there and they seem happy.

Might I suggest you read some of the 23 pages of this thread, plus do a search for the other threads that have covered this topic extensively.

People are happy if the principal likes you. If she doesn't, or you do something she doesn't like or does something to outshine her, its brutal

Oakridge parent here. My kid has had some really great teachers over the years. We’ve had some minor issues with the principal but nothing too alarming. Teachers seem happy. But we did hear about the affair through the grapevine and boy is that spicy! I’d be upset if my kid was in that class and had a gym teacher in there during instruction. I can’t imagine the administration was aware of that happening?

Who was the engaged person, PE teacher or classroom teacher?

The former.

All of this has got to be so embarrassing to the district - not just the affair but the ongoing conditions. The general state of affairs, if you will. 😉

Cheating is fun and fulfilling for the cheater. Which is why it's unforgivable. How can a good person be happy knowing that their pursuit of happiness will cause pain, suffering, and permanent damage to the family.
Is recon possible or even advisable?
Statistically, it is highly improbable that cheaters can change, heal the betrayed, repair the relationship, and stay happy together. All of this is on the cheater. Most cheaters do not have the fortitude to see the relationship through, hence the cheating.
You are better off away from the snakepit.

Because he’s an idiot who likes to take advantage of women who let him. Any female who accepts knowing his behavior is a fool.

Does this man want a harem of females? Makes me wonder how many other fish (oops, mean females) he’s hooked. The guy thinks he’s all that and loves the attention.

Just walk away from guys like this. They are idiots looking for fools.

Scroll up. Sounds like a PE coach and a classroom teacher. One was engaged. And some ITT are saying it’s a reflection of poor leadership at the school? Hard to comment without more detailed knowledge, but I don’t see how that’s the case.

Well played.

We’ve had three kids go to Oakridge and have been happy. Also helped out at the field games today. The PE coach had an affair with a teacher? Sad because have known him for years and like him. But how is that principal fault?
