Trust me. They let varsity players play JV. Several walked over after their varsity game and played JV against my daughters team. |
GC just got spanked by McDonogh 21-10 on ESPNU. Ouch. |
This thread has taken a new low of whining about a JV game. LOL |
Yeah, that makes perfect sense. I will trust you or….. Is it possible that some players who may practice with Varsity and actually play JV, like the ones not good enough to get any playing time on Varsity this year who the coach wants to ensure play in games, were these vicious, crazy over competitive athletes? No, of course not. |
St. John’s 17 Ireton 9
Varsity game. Not JV |
It was 7-5. And SR held the ball for the last 2 1/2 minutes. |
Seems to be a trend. Need to follow NCAA rules like the boys do. SR ruining the game. |
When BI beat SJC in the WCAC semi-finals last year, BI players spiked the football with Insta pic selfies containing captions unbecoming of the Alexandria-based Catholic high school’s teachings and traditions. SJC used those images as bulletin board material for today’s dominating win. SJC had this date circled. This one was personal. |
Good. Hopefully they get a chance to beat them again in the playoffs. |
St. John’s did when yesterdays regular season game vs. BI. Congrats. I don’t even care that you tried to run the score up at the end while BI was chasing. But last time I checked there were zero girls lax banners hanging at St. John’s. Until someone other then BI or Good Counsel can win the championship let’s just know our place. |
Just like when St. John’s acted that way on BIs field after a close regular season win last year only to be beaten in the playoffs. They are high school girls, let either team enjoy a win against a rival. Either way. |
Don’t be a sore loser and quit blaming your losses on the coach or covid. Yes, BI WAS a power house but that was due to your talent. You have fine players today but none compare to those of the past. Just stating facts. |
Visitation, Stone Ridge top tier
Potomac, SJC, SSAS second tier no one cares about the past -- this is the future there is more talent on Visitation and Stone Ridge, period. |
This. There are a few JV players who float, i.e. practice with both teams. Depending on the team, they might get playing time on V. They never play both V and JV against the same team. |
Certainly not being a sore loser. Gave credit where it was due. St. John’s deserved the victory. Pointing out that the girls on either should be able to enjoy their victories seems to have struck a nerve. I can see you are bitter about the past. Maybe a few wins and some counseling will help. Keep in living through your child. |
