2023 Girls ISL and WCAC outlook

Pointing out that the girls on either should be able to enjoy their victories seems to have struck a nerve. I can see you are bitter about the past. Maybe a few wins and some counseling will help. Keep in living through your child.

Not bitter and no dog in this fight. Just an observer of girls lacrosse in the DMV for many years. Good luck to all of them. Life goes in after lacrosse.

Visitation VS. SR tomorrow. Visi -3 per Vegas.

no one cares about the past -- this is the future
there is more talent on Visitation and Stone Ridge, period.

GC belongs in the top tier.

Potomac is not in the 2nd? PVI, Yes, but Potomac is a reach

And SSSAS lost to Oakton HS today

Agreed. Potomac is mid-tier at best. SJC and PVI just below the top 4 - Visi, GC, SSAS & SR.

DMV Girls current situation and outlook

Tier 1:
Visitation, SR, PVI, GC

Tier 2:
SJC, SSAS, Potomac, Holy Child, maybe Bishop Ireton

Tier 3:
The rest

SSAS not top tier anymore.

Well, SJC beat PVI so I struggle there a bit. SJC should be tier 1 or PVI Tier 2. Lean more towards SJC Tier 1 since PVI beat SR.
Anonymous
yes, you are probably right. SJC should be tier 1.

Holy Child beat SJC as well but they are not Tier 1 either. I realize every team has an off day.

Yes, good point. One win shouldn't get you to the next tier, but a couple good wins...

SJC has been inconsistent. What’s the coach like there?

I think this tier 1 list is accurate. Each has shown it can compete with every other team listed. That should be the measurement.

Is there a link to watch SR/Visi game online today?

SSSA is tier one and will remain tier one as long as KJ is still there.

It’s been well documented this spring they are very young hence their current record.

Hard not keep them there when they are the defending ISL champs from last Spring.
