Hey - I'm the PP who used word "rando" in my post - just jumping back into this thread now - the only thing I feel anything close to silly about is trying to engage in a meaningful way with a weirdo gun-nut troll on the internet.

AR-15s are getting banned. The people in these photos will have to find something else to hunt with. I'm going to lose zero sleep over that. They may also need to undergo background checks for mental fitness and take out liability insurance for their remaining non "assault weapon" guns.

Wow, you people are over-thinking this. I am a late life (and retired law enforcement) gun collector. It’s a hobby I enjoy with my two sons and we like going to the range to shoot together. We aren’t into hunting; it’s not an obsession; there’s no political or doomsday reasoning behind it. Its just something that we find fun.
