U.S. Annual Inflation rose to 6.8% in November - the highest in 40 years

I pointed out we needed more truck drivers all the way back in August. It’s a field where the truckers are making $100K a year with serious hours. Glad the administration is finally taking it seriously. Nothing like a new year to get butts in gear

Yeah, I'm sure that's going to go over real well with the American public heading into the midterms. You thought Virginia was bad? Inflation is now 7%. Keep going.

Biden's enacted policies didn't cause any of those. He's trying to control COVID but half of the population still thinks COVID is a hoax/common cold/whatever and that vaccines are somehow more dangerous than the virus itself/a bigpharma scam/bigbrother microchip/liberals trying to cuck them/whatever other idiocy that their conservative media has told them. And many of those people are the ones causing a lot of the supply chain issues along with clogging up the healthcare system.

No, he's trying to ignore COVID which is not the same thing. I'll leave my comments on the supply chain crisis exploding right as the Secretary of Transportation decided to abandon his duties for 90 days for another time.

"Ignoring covid." Wow. Some of you are clearly living in a parallel dimension. Please rejoin the rest of us in reality.

And some of you have been ignoring warning signs since summer 2021. Covid, the economy, and inflation needs to take precedence over all other b*llshit. But that's okay, just like in November 2021 you'll wake up in November 2022 to a rude realization. You f*cked up.

Biden continuing the extensive federal unemployment benefits through Sept of 2021 created a big jump in employment.

No one was looking for jobs.

Help wanted signs everywhere.

Starting wages for unskilled high school grads are now at $20 per hour. Labor rates are creating strong inflationary pressures.

Um, EXCUUUUSE ME.....

WHICH side has been running around calling COVID a "hoax" and "just the common cold" and refusing to have even a modicum of social distancing in favor of being able to go to happy hour? Which side stormed state capitols armed with AR-15s over that? Which side has been demonizing and attacking people and calling them "sheeple" for wearing masks? Which side has been coming up with completely unhinged conspiracy theories about the vaccines, everything from vaccines killing more people than COVID to implanted microchips to spy on people? Which side has been rallying people to fight against all of these common-sense lifesaving measures which have already saved millions of lives? YOUR SIDE.

Again, YOUR side has been f*ckng up FAR FAR WORSE. GO SIT DOWN AND S-T-F-U.

The economy is good though. Everything is better.

What are you people going to do with yourselves when this COVID surge drops back off (as it already is)?

On to the next fake outrage...

Seriously, get over yourselves.

Most bigger blue state municipalities have already had all of those things - contact tracing, mass testing and closures.

But now you insist on far more and bigger national push, which will result in the inevitable unhinged right wing freakouts:
- Contact tracing: "thEy'Re SpYIng On uS!"
- Mass testing: "MoRE inTrUSivE TyRANniCaL MaNDaTEs!!"
- Temporary closures: "LoCKdOWnS!!! REEEEEEE!!!!!!"

The unhinged right wing is why none of this can happen and why these kinds of insistences are doomed for disaster.

Why doesn't Biden offer a path to citizenship for certain truck drivers. Perhaps some immigration documents already reflect who has truck driving experience.

America can train its own truck drivers. Believe it or not but these are actually pretty highly paid jobs in much of America.
