“These are the least responsible fiscal macroeconomic policy we’ve have had for the last 40 years” - Larry Summers

Obama's top 2 economic advisors - Jason Furman and Larry Summers - both advised Biden against his fiscal policies and excessive stimulus. But Biden is a dumb as rocks arrogant SOB and he was going to be the next FDR and LBJ.

I know. Let's fix the problem by giving everyone a little extra money to spend. That'll do it!

They were wrong. Biden isn't Carter. He's Reagan.

Is Biden also causing inflation in Germany? https://www.marketwatch.com/amp/story/german-inflation-rises-at-fastest-pace-in-almost-30-years-271639120086

Or the UK? https://amp.theguardian.com/business/live/2021/dec/06/supply-chain-disruption-omicron-uk-economy-german-factories-builders-eurozone-business-live

It’s almost like there are some global factors causing this and isn’t the result of comedy policies?

U.K. and German inflation is at 3-4%. The U.S. is DOUBLE that. Biden is doing something wrong and we will end up at 10% inflation in first quarter 2022 if he doesn't reverse course.

The only countries higher than the U.S. last month was f**king Venezuela, Turkey, Brazil, Russia, and Mexico.

You just shot yourself in the foot.

Reagan was famous for proactively combatting inflation. He came into office in a period of stubbornly high inflation and one that was already steadily worsening. He promised to tackle it, and he did. Sharp increases in interest rates and led to a short if painful recession in the early 1980s. But once inflation was brought under control, the American economy took off.

There's a distinct reason why Carter is associated with inflation and Reagan is not.

Translation: The US is ratchet.

USA well on its way to becoming Venezuela. Can't wait until the progressives get what they want. Toilet paper shortages will be a feature soon, and not a bug.

You’re silly. The inflation is due to the Fed’s monetary policy that helps bubbles and artificially controls the markets to benefit the wealthiest of Americans and corporations. Parents getting help with daycare isn’t the problem.

Oh, I know what he did. He had to combat because by his second year in office inflation was at 12% thanks to Carter.

When do you think we'll hit 12%? At the rate we're going - February 2022? March 2022?

Daycare and thousands in free income a month are two different things. Hopefully Manchin saves us all.
