He really had no chance of anonymity in the US.

He should have cleaned up a little and got a hold of some clean clothes. He was probably sleeping outside in Pennsylvania for several days. He probably looked terrible.

Frankly, he is downright hot in his mugshot.

Not if he has schizophrenia.

He seemed to be fairly rational in avoiding the police and planning the murder.

I don’t think so at all. He was sitting in McDonalds, 5 days later, not far outside of NYC, with the murder weapon and the same fake ID still on him. That isn’t rationale if you are trying to avoid being arrested.

In Altoona. 250 miles from New York City. As for the ID and gun, I suspect he didn't think anyone had a copy of his fake ID.

It’s not that the police “had a copy” but c’ mon. You look like the killer whose photo has been widely circulated for days and are a 4 hour drive from NYC, AND you have a gun on you. Forget the ID, it’s pretty incriminating to look exactly like the killer and be alone in a McDonalds eating, then to have a gun on you, forget it. As soon as the ID is ran, yeah, the police are going to know it’s fake and be in touch with other depts if they haven’t already.

They did have a copy. From the hostel where he used it.

The part about his parents asking HS friends if they knew how to each him is heartbreaking. They must have been so worried about him and this is their worst fears realized.

Agreed. Something clearly went way off the rails with him and it's really sad.

Supposedly he had back surgery and after that is when he disappeared/lost it.

I wonder if the shooters defense is going to be that the CEO died of a pre existing condition.

Seems to be the go to defense when you don't really have a defense lol

Similar to Jordan Neely.

Jordan Neely’s story is absolutely tragic and heartbreaking.

It had to have been the surgery or whatever injury he got that sent him sideways. He also seemed really into psychedelics.

Reddit is saying they nabbed the wrong guy. Photos compared side by side show the shooter with thinner eyebrows. Luigi has thick ones. Then noses were compared. They don’t look alike either.

Why would him being rich change anyone’s opinion about the CEO and United Healthcare’s business practices?

I don’t know maybe it’s when you’ve been living large off of corporatized assisted living facilities your whole life you’d at least look closer to home (or maybe relinquish your riches) before murdering a stranger.

Is there any word on how Chuck Mangione fits into to all this? TIA

And how is Reddit explaining away his possession of the same fake ID, an unregistered gun, and a manifesto lambasting united healthcare by name?

And the gun, IDs, and manifesto were a coincidence? Reddit basement dwellers don’t know anything

He is hot. Where is his GoFundMe?

Why would he have the fake idea the shooter used in the NYC hostel, a ghost gun, and a 3-page manifesto about corporate malfeasance if it was a different guy? They should also be able to trace the gun to bullets and casings at the scene.

People look different in different lighting and camera angles. The other evidence is damning.

Probably has ED from it.
