We eat these once a week- horrible? They mke grat snack food for friends too.
|
Sporadic - like 1-2x a year in desperate situations. imho, lunchables barely qualifies as "food." The sodium content alone almost burns the roof of my mouth.
|
Never. It's not really food, so it would never occur to me to buy them.
Never have. I'm willing to overlook a lot of salt and fat (possibly more than I should) if something is really tasty, but they don't look appetizing to me.
I use them as a special treat on field trip days. My kids love them!
Never. I am not a health nut, but these are disgusting, unbelievably unhealthy crap. I read an article once where the guy who invented them was saying that he would never feed them to his own kids.
What PP said. Yuck.
Every day
|
Maybe 1-2/year. Kids beg for them, but they're complete crap.
Never. I'd rather they buy the school lunch, which at least comes with a vegetable IDE and a salad ( that my I'd loves)
Oh, OP. You knew what the DCUM harpies would say. Why'd you ask? We do it once a week, too, like you. Moderation, balance. We're fine.
Never. I'm not against them, I guess. It just never occurs to me to buy them. Plus, aren't they expensive?
I used to do them once a week as a treat. Then it moved up to twice a week for a few weeks and I got disgusted and got rid of them all together. They haven't been missed.
We do them about 1x a week or 1x every other week. We used to let them buy lunch once in a while (the same ratio 1x a week or every other week), but then I heard they did not have time to eat as the lines were so long that I swapped the periodic buy a lunch to periodically giving them a lunchable. I figure it is a treat and no worse than a school, cafeteria lunch (as I know they do not eat fruit if they buy their own lunch).
