Does anyone else hate basmati rice?

Anonymous
I have hated it for a while now. When eating it,
I can only compare the taste to spiders. I don't eat spiders and never have, but it's just what I imagine when I taste the rice. Does anyone else really not like basmati rice?

You are a strange one, aren't you, OP?

No I'm not, but my doctor does think that I have sensory issues with foods.

wow. you are seriously neurotic.

But DS had some star trek movie on and the bad guys were putting nasty alien parasites in the good guys ears and now I can't eat the macaroni pesto I made - reminds me of the bugs now.

Absolutely love it especially with butter raisens and saffron. Try to stay away - very fattening!

I saw that movie when I was a kid, and to this day I have to sleep with a blanket or my hair covering my ears for fear an alien parasite might crawl in if its uncovered. And, yes, I understand that is neurotic.

I also love it. But then again rice is just about my favorite food, which I realize is pretty unusual.

Also, don't smuggle drugs into or out of Thailand (or anywhere, really, but especially Thailand).
