Your accusation is absolutely not true for me. As I've said before multiple times on this thread, I don't think ANYONE (man OR woman) should have their reputation ruined and lives turned upside down with uncorroborated accusations that are decades old and as full of holes as Dr. Ford's.

Come off it. You would never have sat by and let this happen if it was a black man accused of attempted rape of a 15 year old white girl--stop lying! And the allegations are NOT uncorroborated. A thorough investigation of such serious allegations could not possibly have been conducted in one week. It was a sham. You'll obviously never have the decency to admit it, but it was. But hey, you won--that's all that matters to you and your Glorious Leader.

DP. Your injection of race into this discussion is bizarre.

Your refusal to acknowledge that this Kavanaugh debacle is white male patriarchal entitlement on display is bizarre and evasive.

Must be a tough life, PP

You really don’t know anything since your scenario is not at all what happened.
We have a man accused of heinous crimes by someone who made the accusations with no proof and no corroboration.
Let’s stick to the facts. Forget the “if this... then that” scenarios.

For the millionth time there WAS corroboration. Stick to the facts.

They were absolutely uncorroborated and no investigation, no matter how long or thorough, would have added a thing too it. In fact, with Ramirez's claim a woman who knew Kavanaugh during that time claimed he was lying about the drinking but that she never saw behavior as described.

But again...why wasn't anything brought forth from the last 30 years?

You have insisted through multiple posts there was corroboration. Please list the corroborating evidence that the rest of us missed.

No way will I name them here, but they manage to function, shielded by their judicial secretaries and clerks--clerks especially, as they are beholden to them for a lifetime of references-which is the absolute payoff for working like slave for their judge. Not one of these folks with severe drinking problems should be on the Supreme Court.

And if you don't think that white knuckled, water sloshing, petulant, screaming maniac has a drinking problem, you haven't been around drunks the way I have. My father was exactly that.

OMG, you have issues. Seeing a person react angrily to false accusations does not equate to "petulant, screaming maniac." WTH? I love the way every time you describe his reaction at the hearing, you embellish it further. He was upset and terse. He screamed at no one, nor did he act like a "maniac." What colorful and inaccurate description will you come up with next?

Sorry about your dad, but his alcoholism had absolutely nothing to do with Kavanaugh's human reaction to being wrongfully accused of sexual assault. Get a grip.

Spare me your faux sympathy, I don't need it from the likes of you. You Kavanaugh supporters are truly vile.

Perhaps one day, when you stop projecting your personal problems onto anyone you hate, you'll be taken seriously. For now, you're just someone who could benefit from therapy.

Precisely. I agree. I don't care what race or gender the defendant is. If there is evidence to convict - or judge, in this case - that's one thing. It's another thing entirely to claim someone is guilty of something that no one can even corroborate. Ridiculous and disgusting.

Not the PP, but you truly sound unhinged. What difference would his race have made - except to you, of course? I don't care if he's purple. There wasn't enough evidence, and certainly no corroboration, to claim he was guilty of anything. People like you simply wanted to see him go down, based solely off of one 36 yr. old allegation. I can't tell you how glad I am that decency and common sense ruled the day for him. You people are insane.

+1
It's all they know. It must have been so disappointing for them that both Kavanaugh and Ford were white. No one could play the stupid race game.

This is what it always comes down to for you, isn't it? There has to be some kind of race angle. You're pathetic.

Can’t really say it’s “patriarchal” given Susan Collins’ speech. But go on with the projecting.

+100
I love Susan Collins.

DP. No, there was not. For the millionth time. None of Ford's witnesses corroborated her story. Please stop pretending they did.

This. Kavanaugh had never been accused of *anything*. Ever.

And isn't it telling that the prosecutor's office has chosen NOT to bring charges related to any of these cases? Gosh, I wonder why they've decided not to?

It's been 2 weeks. Settle down.

There's someone who engaged in sexual assault on the court. You felt strongly enough about this to speak out publicly, and testify in front of congress. You're going to think over going to the police for 2 weeks?
There's a gang rapist on the court. You felt strongly enough about this to get a lawyer, speak out publicly, and give multiple interviews. You're going to think over going to the police for 2 weeks?

Really? It strains credulity.
