Also why are all her suits a size too small? Surely a cabinet secretary has enough money to buy suits in the correct size.

With that said - shoot me now for thinking this: I kind of like her weirdo slightly western, slightly butch take on suitery. She needs a haircut, she needs a better fit, she needs an iron, she needs to lose that hot pink cargo suit, but this is odd and I sort of like it.

I think the pants size is fine. But I’d size up in the jacket. I can’t believe you asked why her suits are small - the better to show off her chest, obviously.

She doesn't read to me like someone with Noem's pathetic need to show off her boobs on every occasion. With this, looks to me more like she bought these then gained some weight and doesn't want to shop for anything new.

Unpopular opinion but Brooke Rollins is one of the few women in Trump world who are actually smart and accomplished. She has a really strong legal and public policy background. Kristi Noem is not smart. She was in college for four years before she got knocked up and dropped out without a degree...and she was nowhere close to getting one. After four years.

I think Brooke is confident and sure of herself whereas Kristi knows she's just white trash who lucked into all of this. She doesn't have the academic credentials to back her up hence the need to show off her goods.

There’s definitely something to be said for embracing your own bad taste and just wearing whatever hot pink crazy cargo pantsuit you want. It shows a sense of security in yourself and your own identity. Remember hero of the thread, Ivana Trump, RIP, and her comfy IDGAF sweatsuits?

Back when Ivanka was in the White House we all seemed to realize that she had no sense of self, and it was reflected in her clothes. Everything was a costume to reflect what she thought she needed to be for the occasion.

Tbh, I am the rare poster who doesn't mind Ivanka's clothes. She usually has one dumb, unnecessary detail, but she's very pretty and looks well put-together.

She's at her best when she keeps it simple and sticks to silhouettes that work for her, which are the following formulas:
A. Tight sweater and pencil skirt
B. Silk blouse and wide legged pants
C. A-line dress

This is a good look:

This is also a good look:

This is horrific:

Because instead of sticking with what works, she decided to get freaky. She just doesn't have the "look" to pull off freaky shit.

😂 that last one made my day, thank you - she looks like my Peperomia plant. I agree with the pp who said Ivanka has no sense of self -
She definitely embraces the costume. But she’s definitely a trend chaser, and it’s like she’s dressing to meet some expectation. No sense of fun or even any personality, just a bland Pinterest board of fashion. At least Kimberly Guilfoyle dresses with conviction, as terrible as it is

A) Did Ivanka host it or did Marla? Because Marla is almost 60 at this point.
B) If Ivanka did host it...idk, I'm a millennial and my parents read me a lot of Beatrix Potter as a kid. So it's not weird to me that a millennial would like Beatrix Potter.

It would be really tacky for the expectant mom’s own family to host a baby shower.

Oh who cares. She's a married woman who works in Big Law and whose husband is loaded, it's fine for her mom to host.

1. Tiffany isn't working. In fact, there's no indication she ever passed the bar.
2. Her husband isn't loaded. His family's story about being wealthy was all made up. His father is a small-time truck salesman.

Ivanka hosted, as she made quite clear on her IG https://www.instagram.com/p/DIL5IrGuYoE/?img_index=1

And Marla is already 61.

The extra buttons simulate nipples, feminizing the outfit.

It weirds me out that Ivanka is ripping off the 1950's/60's for looks. And Beatrix Potter themed baby shower? These are Silent Generation WASP cultural faves. I just don't understand how she arrived there from past purchasing and consumption patterns.

I'm not defending anyone in particular, but haven't you gone through different phases in taste? I have. It's OK.

If you mean, have I had costume designers recreate clothes from famous movies for special events, no, I have not. Also have not cosplayed clothes from different eras except my 1970s satin jacket which was a 1950s Happy Days inspired ripoff trend. I skipped the 1970s poncho revival completely.

Slightly off topic, but I did not know who TT’s husband was OR that she met him while on vacation with Lindsay Lohan. However it is odd to me how much Tiffany Trump & Lindsay Lohan look alike!

I know this is not the political forum but her fiancé’s background, including Lebanon, is fascinating. He is cute!

Pp, God bless you for posting this article. In the long history of wonderful, bananas things being posted on this thread, it’s up there. There are just too many amazing quotes for me to post.

The Trumps, it seems, were scammed by small time, delirious scammers. It’s delicious.

In another call, on Wednesday, he said he was referring to his father-in-law’s companies, which he said were collectively worth more than $1 billion, though the company he runs is not.

“I’ve never really gone into any details like that about the value,” he said.

He confirmed that he has no relationship with Boulos Enterprises. Asked why he had never corrected the record, he said that he made a practice of not commenting on his business.

Mr. Boulos has a history of small business ventures. Corporate records in Nigeria tie him to a restaurant, some inactive construction companies and to Tantra Beverages, a now-defunct company that was set up to sell an “erotic drink” that “gives men and women the ultimate stimulating push,” according to its manufacturer.

Mr. Boulos said an associate runs the restaurant, and that he did not recall the drink venture. (After this article was published, Mr. Boulos said he did recall Tantra, and that it was part of an attempt to sell energy drinks that never got off the ground).

The entire article is like this.

Beatrix Potter is a classic children's theme and looks like it made a beautiful baby shower.

What does Marla's age have to do with anything?

It is CLOSE to a good outfit but that stupid belt is stupid, the skirt is too tight (you can see how it's pulling), the top looks like long underwear belonging to someone two sizes smaller. Just size up, lady. See how good it feels to be able to breathe.

Other than the last look, the top two are great on her. The white shirt isn't too small for her - look at the sleeves. It's a form-fitting shirt and meant to look that way. The belt on her skirt needs to be tied in some way. Otherwise, she looks fabulous.

So Boulos fits right in with the trumps. All flash, no cash.
