I don’t think so at all. He was sitting in McDonalds, 5 days later, not far outside of NYC, with the murder weapon and the same fake ID still on him. That isn’t rationale if you are trying to avoid being arrested.

In Altoona. 250 miles from New York City. As for the ID and gun, I suspect he didn't think anyone had a copy of his fake ID.

That's his family. He was born into it. Yes he benefited but he's only 26, he didn't start the businesses nor did he take them over or anything. I know a lot of people in his situation
(very wealthy, but ashamed of their family's wealth).

His parents apparently gifted him his own house which he then sold and used the proceeds to live in Hawaii. He sure did benefit. Nice cognitive dissonance.
