Why is Blake Lively so overrated?

What if she’s not outright lying but misconstrued things and took them out of context and is using that to her advantage? Or she thinks it’s blurry enough that it could be seen either way?

That's how it is sometimes. There are plenty of work related cases that aren't black or white.

There were so many contradictions and repetitive aspects, someone was being paid by the page as that could have been written in about 20 pages. He comes across as really whiny and his version of events lacks common sense. Blake’s was fare more coherent and believable. And that PR team is a car crash. Ridiculous she used her private phone for work as a PR person!!

I couldn't get past the first few pages it was so melodramatic with no substance. Who wrote this?

Its a PR war. There was so many unnecessary tidbits like Blake knowing his tea ( a hot matcha, that's not a complex order Justin).

Jones actually looks fine here. She has issues elsewhere but not in this situation. Her strategy to help Justin were not based on this unhinged hatred like the others. Abel is a snake and messed with the wrong person.

At this point, I believe baldoni. His story makes sense and he has receipts. Her story doesn’t really make sense and she doesn’t have the documentation he does. She also exerted control all along the way and when you read the texts cited in his complaint, it looks like she played him. I also think the New York Times story swayed people to her side, but it was mostly based on text messages that were taken out of context with what seem like pretty important parts omitted.

I didn’t know who baldoni was before this. I didn’t have an opinion of Blake before this and only really knew of her based on her marriage to Ryan Reynolds.

Not that part, the handing it all over to lively’s team and going scorched earth.

It’s not just a pr war, one complaint is better supported with texts, emails and claims to have back up, whether it be sound video or notes to address the contested conversations.

Honestly, I knew Blake’s complaint was contrived when she claimed both the actor playing the ob and the financier really just wanted to be near her naked crotch. Then, it turns out she was basically fully clothed.

Watch Jane the Virgin! Great show and he's great in it.

Because she is a bully (Leighton cage comments, Kate Middleton, the report congratulating her pregnancy).

Beyond The Blinds has been particularly good with this case. Can’t wait to see what they say about this lawsuit.

It actually reads like a trashy novel. I don’t buy it, but it’s fun reading! Five stars!

I would've done the same thing in her position. As I said Abel is a snake and should've never messed with her. NYT and Blake misinterpreting the messgaes aren't on her. Justin was the unfortunately collateral damage of Abel’s actions.

Stephanie was a terrible boss but that only means Jennifer should've left sooner. She "lives in fear for Stephanie's next move" because she knows how bad the text messages are. She adds a lot of messages in this case but none of them actually clear up Stephanie's accusations. Stephanie was not mad with Jennifer was leaving. She was mad at the way Jennifer left.

I agree with whoever said Justin should drop her. Is there a way he can proceed without her being a plaintiff?

+1 This feels like a "if I got down we all go down" move. Someone mentioned she already had the actual complaint ready on hand so she must have felt there would be some push back. She doesn't care. Her reputation was already in the gutter and felt as if Justin ruined her hair and alcohol sales. Her reality is not our reality so she probably thought it would work enough and people barely read court documents. That's usually true expect these lawsuits have taken off like I've never seen before.

That’s how I found it too. Very dramatic with few actual claims and so many contradictions. I read it before looking on here and surprised people thought his was stronger etc. I found it to be quite weak.

Hi everyone. I am breaking down the complaint with some pics of Blake and Justin's texts in a more cohesive manner. This will also be for people who can't read it or want a short version. I do not appreciate how all their complaints are all over the place. Warning i don't think either one are being completely truthful.

My read of the complaint is that she had huge star power/fame and Baldoni and co tried to appease her at every turn even when her asks went beyond what she was hired her to appease her ego. It’s difficult to believe her sexual harassment complaints when Baldoni and co are consistently trying to kowtow to her requests and not piss her off. Doesn’t make much sense.

Close friend works with her team on unrelated projects and sees her as very demanding. Her team for that project (which she hired herself) is constantly just bending over backwards to meet her demands and make sure she’s happy and consistently makes asks that go beyond the contours of the agreed upon terms.
