But maybe everyone was tuned out by then since Tay and Bey didn’t show…

There is nothing wrong with what she said, and frankly, one can be for the existence of Israel and not be a zionist. Ask me how I know.

Provide the link where they promised this.

+1 This was some crazy internet rumor. People don't know how to differentiate real news from random speculation online.

And if Beyoncé has indeed showed up MAGAs would have said that the crowd only came to see her. Such idiots.

She lived in a multicultural red-lined neighborhood. Her single mom, her, and her sister lived in an apartment above a daycare. She was bused to school. Her neighbors were firefighters. The village that helped raise her was blue collar. Even if her parents were professionals she didn't grow up in a white collar environmental.

Also, do you really think her minority parents were paid equal pay to other researchers and professors? Her speech didn't say blue collar, she said middle class.

From 12-17 she lived in Montreal while her mother was a professor at McGill. Crickets about that in her speech because it doesn’t fit the narrative.

Including that would not have taken away from her speech. Sad that her mother had to leave America for a better lifestyle.

Tweens don't get to pick where they live. What is important is that when she could decide for herself, she returned to America to attend Howard University (HBCU) and selected a career of service.

And by the way, where was her father on the biggest night of her life? Oh that's right. They hate each other.

So you're unqualified to be president if you're estranged from a parent? What a ridiculous comment.

+1 her father wasn't around and she adored her mother. Not exactly unusual. Also evidently he's cold, critical, and humorless.

She needs him for exactly nothing.

Harris is a decent person and perhaps her father is too. Her father probably loves her and misses his baby but he is likely disappointed in the fact that his daughter is now a bought and paid for puppet of one of our two awful major political parties.

Please provide one shred of evidence that Kamala is a "decent person," as most people would define that. And by the way, her father is a Marxist.

The convention was full of stories about how she’s a decent person. My favorite was Rep. Jasmine Crockett’s. And if he’s a Marxist it’s good that they’re estranged, no?

I did not actually hear Grisham speak, but these experts are important to broadcast. The voice of a former insider who tells what it was like living behind the scenes. The Trump family has such a lack of integrity and bring shame to the Republican party.

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/republicans-denounce-trump-endorse-harris-dnc/

Grisham, who was criticized for never holding a press briefing during her tenure, resigned on Jan. 6, 2021, as rioters assaulted the Capitol and Trump said nothing to stop them.

"I wasn't just a Trump supporter, I was a true believer," Grisham told the DNC crowd. "I was one of his closest advisers. The Trump family became my family. I spent Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's all at Mar-a-Lago. I saw him when the cameras were off. Behind closed doors, Trump mocks his supporters. He calls them basement dwellers."

Grisham recalled a hospital visit when Americans were dying at the ICU and she said he was upset the cameras weren't on him.

"He has no empathy, no morals, and no fidelity to the truth," she said. "He used to tell me, 'It doesn't matter what you say, Stephanie — say it enough and people will believe you.' But it does matter. What you say matters. And what you don't say matters. On January 6th, I asked Melania if we could at least tweet that while peaceful protest is the right of every American, there's no place for lawlessness or violence. She replied with one word: 'No.'"

Grisham said she "couldn't be part of the insanity any longer."

"When I was press secretary, I got skewered for never holding a White House briefing," she said. "It's because, unlike my boss, I never wanted to stand at that podium and lie. Now here I am, behind a podium, advocating for a Democrat. And that's because I love my country more than I love my party. Kamala Harris tells the truth. She respects the American people. And she has my vote."

for the trolls who keep posting about the "Exonerated Five" please look up the word exonerated in the dictionary. The 5 were exonerated after DNA evidence and the real perpetrator were uncovered. They were declared innocent and received an apology because they were thrown in jail and spent 41 years combined for a crime they did not commit. Corey Wise was tried as an adult despite being a minor and faced the hardest and most brutal time. They were denied counsel and food and while minors coerced into a false confession.

Please watch Ava Duvarney's brilliant "When They See Us" on netflix for a meticulously researched, wonderfully acted account of what happened.

Yes, I'm sure at the hand-picked, carefully curated convention where people will say anything to get stage time, they all had nice things to say about her.

Why don't we ask one of the 92% of her staff in the VP's office who has quit in the last 3.5 years because of her screaming, bullying and belligerence, if they think she is a "decent person?"

This was a fantastic convention that laid out the democratic case for Harris-Walz (and against Trump-Vance) in the most compelling way.

Harris and Walz have my vote and the vote of my family and friends.

My gen Z teen son's tier list for most memorable DNC speeches:
S (superb) tier - Michelle Obama
A tier (really good) - Pete Buttigieg, Kamala Harris
B tier (nice) - Barack Obama, Rev Warnock, Tim Walz, State by State roll call (esp Georgia/Lil John), Kamala's grand-nieces
C tier (ok) - Joe Biden, Oprah, Wes Moore, Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, Kamala's husband
D tier - Pelosi

The people who left were part of the prior Chief of Staff team. You realize trump had 44 cabinet members in his 4 years, and 41 of them are not endorsing this candidacy. And he wanted his Vice President dead.

I agree with your son, though would move Warnock up one slot.

Wow the Z's like Buttigieg I guess! Other than that (I'd have ranked him C Tier and bumped Hilary up to B Tier) this is a solid ranking.

Very solid ranking, kudos to your son! Love to see that the Z's are interested in the political process.

She, just like Trump, has no real and feasible plan to fix our nation's problems. They do have plans to scratch the backs of their wealthy donors.

If she had any plan at all, why hasn’t she implemented right now? (hint: she has no plan).

Um, she’s not the president right now. Do you actually know the difference between the roles of the actual president— and the Vice President? It’s the VP’s job to assist in implementing the President’s policies and to represent the president.

Do you understand the interplay between the Legislative, Executive, and Judicial branches of government? Are Civics and Government classes no longer required in high school?

tldr: She hasn’t “implemented….her plan” because the government that we have right now doesn’t work that way.

Longer version: Although now that Biden, as the sitting President, has immunity for pretty much everything, it would be great if he and Kamala could spend the next few months implementing some pretty major changes and pushing the limits of Executive Orders.
