Aren’t they supposed to rotate for double headers? If girls play first the next time they host boys go first vice versa. That’s how most schools do it.

It’s actually a specific Title IX requirement for HS that boys/girls have to switch. The specific issue has been adjudicated and it’s given as a specific example as a HS Title IX violation if you look it up (Hint: Search NFHS Title IX FAQs).

If it’s 3 in a row, the BF AD is in shaky legal ground both from the girls team but also an opponent who could have a good challenge to the game’s outcome. A little internet investigation and then education of the AD may be needed before the next game to fix this.

Most girls prefer to play first. They get a much better crowd for the second half of their game

It’s depressing to them to have more fans for the boys game and then everyone leaves for their game.

It’s most obvious in basketball. The girls would rather play before the boys. Stop picking fights that aren’t there
