Please no more IVF talk, it is SO boring.
I am here for hot takes on entitled brat behavior, cloying Oprah details, and over/unders on when Harry will move back to the UK. (I say 7 yrs).

I used to think Harry would want to go back to England. But the way he popped off at the Queen, pretty sure next time he turns up at the castle he's going to catch some hands. This is going to get worse before it gets better.

The people who insisted she was barren when marrying at the age of 36.

I mean...she was. She was only able to get pregnant with world class doctors. What do you call poor women who can not afford IVF -- or even a rich royal 30 years ago -- with the same issues? Barren.

1. I should hope that no one would be calling anyone that
2. You don’t actually know by the fact that she used ivf that she was only able to get pregnant through ivf. All you know is that she used ivf. One of my friends saved her eggs in her mid-20s prior to doing her residency and then fertilized embryos after getting married and had kids using those embryos a few years later. I have no reason to believe that she couldn’t have gotten pregnant naturally at 29.

I mean, doesn’t Harry stepping aside make it easier to streamline the firm?

Once Charles takes the crown, let’s assume 15-20 years of him running the show. His sister is very active, and they will get by with the current team.

By the time William takes over, his own kids will be adults who can step up.

Why wouldn’t William be furious. The benefits to the job of being in line for the throne are the same either way. So why wouldn’t he want Henry to split the work?

William is the future monarch he gets to do the work. Harry wants to live free of that burden like his cousins.

William wanted to continue using Harry + his wife as joint whipping boys. Anytime anyone in the royal family did anything wrong, his game was to call the media and brief on Meghan as a distraction.

Andrew being pursued by the FBI? Meghan’s nail polish is wrong!
Kate took the kids to her mom’s when he cheated on her? Meghan’s got a floating yoga studio!
Prince Phillip crashed a car and won’t surrender his license? Meghan has a funny background.
The Queen’s relatives living rent free on taxpayer dimes for 30 years? Meghan’s friend’s cousin was arrested for pot.

Now that they’ve left the island, have their own private staff and paid back everything to do with the royal family it’s not as easy to use the Sussex’s to hide their own faults or laziness.

William + wife will have to do double the engagements he was before not only because Harry left but also because 3/4ths of the ‘Magnificent Seven’ are retirees and the U.K. is in freefall thanks to Brexit.

None of the royals have visited Australia or Canada in over two years as well. Too bad they pushed out the hardest working young royals.

I totally get why Harry, who hated the photographers stalking him and his mom, would want to distance his kids and wife from that mess, especially with racially motivated attacks
Especially when he can look at his uncles and see his fate there, relegated to obscurity after being 3rd and 2nd in line for the throne
Edward seems OK with his low-key life, but not Andrew...

Team Meghan.

I have disdain for old archaic institutions that do absolutely nothing but provide weird antiquated symbolism. F the whole "royal" grifter charade.

Do nothing? You obviously don't know your English history. I would be team Queen just based on her World War II heroics. And if the question was team Harry or the Queen it would always be THE QUEEN!

I love my grandmother and think she was a total bad a and lived a pretty amazing life. Doesn’t mean she wasn’t also judge mental and mean, particularly to family members she disapproved of for reasons both rational and irrational.

Personally to me this has shown me that for the Queen love is conditional. She’s an amazing queen but has long seemed like a sub par mother and grandmother. People can be more than one thing at the same time

She destroys/tries to destroy everyone who disagrees with her. Her sister. Prince Charles (her fault he married Diana), and now she tried it with Harry/Meghan. Also the kid she was closest to/most involved in rearing was Andrew...and he’s the worst one of the bunch!

QEII was miserable in her marriage and accepted the very least from Philipp. As a result, she believed that no one else deserved or was entitled to a happy marriage. Misery has no sympathy and enjoys company.

Victoria was the same way with her children. Having favorites, not having a good relationship with her heir, and even trying to prevent her last daughter from marrying in order to keep her around as her personal attendant.

But there is also the fact that she really seemed to fall in love with Phillip and was a fierce advocate to marry him. Victoria had the same sort of beginning with Albert. But he didn't live long enough to cheat on her for decades, so I don't know.

Elizabeth fell in love with Philipp, but Philipp did not fall in love with her. He was poor, broke, a nazi outcast who happened to have a powerful uncle/godfather named Montbatten. Philipp did not have a lot of options. Montbatten encouraged Philipp to woo Elizabeth the heir to the throne. It was easy to influence a naive 13-year old when you are a tall, handsome nineteen-year old. It was the best payoff in Philipp's life. He got the future queen and all the toys and mistresses life allowed him.

One P. Phillip. Not Phillipp. I first thought it was a mistake but you did it throughout your post.

Personally, I think you are too hard on Phillip. Unless you are the couple nobody really knows what goes on between them.

I think Meghan and Harry made plenty of mistakes. How about telling everyone to save the enviornment then flying around first class in Elton John's private plane? Do as I say not as I do gets pretty old.

The UK is rushing to vaccinate and Boris is getting desperate - which is why William + Kate were sent on that stupid train tour mid-lockdown for three countries.

Charles has been lecturing on the environment and flying in private jets since the 60s. Do whatever with no consequences is the name of the game for the rest of the royals.

DP. Yes, there were no royal visits in 2020. Rightly so. And in 2019 H&M moved to Canada, rendering the country off limits to the other royals.

As for Australia and other countries? As an American Anglophile, I don't really know or care.
