The irony. |

That's his family. He was born into it. Yes he benefited but he's only 26, he didn't start the businesses nor did he take them over or anything. I know a lot of people in his situation (very wealthy, but ashamed of their family's wealth). |
Whether you like it or not, we need Medicare claims for elderly care. I still have empathy for his family. Mental healthcare for adult kids is beyond impossible. |
How is operating nursing homes similar to an insurance CEO using unethical means to deny claims? Is his family scamming anyone? Or are they providing a needed service to the elderly community? There doesn’t seem to be anything more immoral about this business than any other medical facility. And who exactly was harmed? Are you saying the patients are being unfairly treated in someway? Also do you think his family is raking in billions each year and stock options? I just don’t see how this is at all the same. |

| I hope everyone who fell for this imagined hero feels like a fool. |

No, they are still “celebrating” him. Like the people who built a legend around the mysterious, masterful Unabomber, when it was poor Ted Kaczynski all along. |
|
The media now posting bits of his manifesto and wondering, like Luigi, why life expectancy is so poor in the US, with stats.

Why would they? He still took a stand against corporate medical greed. |
I've been on juries. It's just a group of randos doing what they will. |
I mean I don’t think it’s the same but the guy wrote a manifesto about putting profit over care when his family got rich off of assisted living. Do you think the care provided would have been better if they spent more on staff/facilities/programming/recuiting and not grown quite as rich? |
This is going to inspires so many copy cats. |
He shot someone in cold blood and then he ran. That’s not taking a stand. |
