Are they upset? They seem to be fine with it.

Thing is, you're full of imagination of what will "happen". No business will thrive if they turn away ~40% of potential patrons. You can huff and puff and use threats, but it simply won't influence what will happen. None of us actually knows. I can assure you I sure as sh1t will not turn away customers, nor will I refuse their money.

You are misunderstanding. It is likely you can not make both groups happy nor necessarily retain both groups as customers. If establishment A demands patrons be vaccinated and establishment B does not care....all the vaccinated customers may choose to patronize establishment A. A gets the 60 percent, B gets the 40 percent. make your choice.

Exactly this. I have walked out of places where they were blowing off safety regulations.

You, and <1% of people. The VAST VAST MAJORITY do not care about the arbitrary regulations.

You’re in a small minority. I can promise you people in most other places do not give a crap. Literally I talk to my friends in many other states, and none of them are discussing vaccine vs no vaccine .... NONE of them.

Control what you can control .... perhaps start on working on accepting your lack of control

You hit the nail on the head!! Lack of control may be the source of pp's anxiety. She is vaccinated yet has an irrational fear of poster(s) saying they won't get vaccinated. She should get help for her issues, it's so strange witnessing someone so easily triggered by words they launch a crusade to harass and badger people who are most likely trolling here. Lol!

DP. You people are the ones freaking out because businesses, universities, physicians, etc. are requiring vaccines. I would say that you and your antivax friends seem far more anxious and irrational than PP.

I promise you I’m not freaking out, nor posting threads about being mad. I have yet to encounter a business who won’t take my money 🤣

Of you need certain medical specialists like the one I had to see yesterday...they will not take your money if you are unvaxxed.

Not taking the covid vaccine is not unvaccinated. I see multiple specialists and its not an issue. If anything, I don't go in because the nurses behavior that she talks to me about puts me at high risk and I'm uncomfortable with her being close to me, and I will be even when I'm fully vaccinated.

This isn't going to go away with just vaccines. It will be like the flu where it mutates and you'll need a yearly booster. Funny thing though, with masks, more cleaning and other things like distancing the flu was very minimal this year. I don't get why people don't look equally at behavior.

They most certainly look at behavior. People have been asked to ear masks for months and months to help prevent transmission of the virus.

I’ll be glad to verify that if you provide the provider’s phone number ...

And yes, schools in Florida cannot require a vaccine passport

“ Declaring Florida’s COVID-19 emergency over, Gov. Ron DeSantis on Monday signed an executive order invalidating all remaining local emergency COVID orders and signed a bill into law that bars businesses, schools and government entities across Florida from asking anyone to provide proof of a COVID-19 vaccination.”

This has been discussed already. Some medical practices will only see vaccinated patients. This is not unusual or surprising or unbelievable.

Colleges all over can and have said they will require vaccination for in person learning. I believe rutgers was the first and many have followed.

There is an antivaxxer upthread who is insisting the covid-19 vaccine is just like the flu shot.

Actually it is. Pls list out which practices have this policy.

Are you joking? Most pediatricians have this policy. Like, call any of them.

Pavilion Pediatrics. Catonsville Primary Care. Catonsville Pediatrics. JHCP (at least I believe so. Multiple locations.) These are off the top of my head from where my kids go and where my friends kids go. All Baltimore County.

You’re talking about pediatric vaccines that have been around for years, correct? That’s an entirely different conversation than what we are speaking about on this thread .... which is the yet to be FDA authorized vaccine .... your pediatrician that requires it’s young patients to be vaccinated is different entirely. Unless they are currently asking the parents if they are covid 19 vaccinated, this is a pointless comment in this moment.

Enough with the anti vaccine nonsense. It will be like the flu shot with boosters. And you can still catch Covid. It is to reduce your symptoms.

Not all medical staff are vaccines. Where we go they are not. Their choice.

I didn't know vaccines could get medical degrees.

It takes more than face masks, especially given some of the ones people wear, to help prevent transmission. And, most people are only wearing them when forced and not when socializing.
