I wonder if the pearls are for Harris

To be fair, Laura Bush’s MIL is known for wearing pearls, so could be a family thing.

I do think that even for conservative women there is a sense of excitement and solidarity over the first woman VP.

Or she's wearing pearls because pearls are classic?

Oh no! Are you worried you can't wear your pearls anymore because now people are going to think you're a Democrat?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

You're quoting me and I AM a democrat, dumbass. I'm just tired of people on here trying to read something into the most trivial things. EVERYONE wears pearls, especially people of her generation.

But it's okay for all the women to wear $2000+ dresses?

Not my cup of tea but they're young and should be having fun experimenting with fashion.

Meena is in her 30s and well established in life, career, and fashion, LOL. I love all you lame SAHMs on here who know nothing about these people.

And there is the Tartan baby in camel! He is well dressed.

I think it is because high heels just do not work on marble floors. Dangerous.

I'm not ashamed to admit that on a rainy day I have totally bit it on a marble floor in the Capitol building (and in a couple other Fed buildings as well). I have little grippy sticker things I put on the bottoms now.

The Clinton's both need new gloved.

Alternatively, they've done this a few times before and know that warmth is the priority over fashion. I kind of love that Hillary finally does not seem to give an f* about anything.

"She looked like one of the orange skin family. Other that that, I liked when she said a few words in Spanish."

"She would have fit right in to Trump's family farewell ceremony this morning. Fake orange skin, fake hairpiece, covered in glitter."

+1

Re: JLo - She is cheesy.

Was that a pre-recorded track? Because everyone knows she can’t sing.

No. They look like pioneer women

+1 That’s not fashion. Quirky yes, but not fashion.

How many runaway shows have you been to? I'm honestly curious.

These remind me of Christian Siriano FW2020.

You do realize that just because a fashion designer came up with something and paraded it down the runway, doesn’t mean that creation is attractive or flattering, right? We get that you fancy yourself in the know about all things fashion, but plenty of others here are as well. And we think those particular creations would be right at home on the prairie.

The color of her coat is horrible with her purple outfit. But her hair does look amazing and I love that she wore flat, presumably comfy shoes. I felt so bad for Kamala Harris and her feet--those high heels can't have felt good after a few hours on her feet!

I’d like to see the Clintons holding hands.

Dude! They are not together.

Definitely not. Honestly, I kind of lost respect for her for not leaving.

Do they live in the same house or do they live apart? I thought they were still together.

Sorry - she looks like she stepped off of the Wizard of Oz set.

Or Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

I don’t think this is a good look, personally.

The purple does NOT go with the brown coat. And the ruffled scarf is very early 2000s.

I love the whole thing. Quirky, youthful, and fun.

The shoulders are amazing

+1. I love that jeweled jacket.

Root beer! It was root beer hard candies I was trying to remember!

Cute girl, but the coat was hideous, as were the Doc Martens.

You may not like it, but Batsheva and Ulla Johnson = fashion. And since when is quirky equivalent to not fashion?

It's like the American equivalent of the quirky British look from Vampire's wife
