That dress is not Vogue worthy. Yikes Did she get that from the JC Penny dress rack?
I think her hair would look better blown out smooth. It always looks like she was riding around in a convertible.

Re: Melania, she doesn’t need to fume, she’s been there done that.

Lol, yassss. It’s not like she’s married to a lunatic criminal who b;tched about his useless “model” wife not getting any covers. Melania did great photo shoots where she showed a touching curiosity over how another woman’s boobs work, made pew-pew-pew noises and pointed a fake weapon on her money laundering fiancé’s private jet, and those are only the highlights. Thank you for this trip down memory lane.

First Ladies in Vogue

Hillary looks so great.
So Melania wasn’t asked to be in Vogue?

Her hair is wavy and has movement, it is a more natural look and avoids the helmet hair that can sadly accompany aging in some women. I like the dress as well and think she looks great and finally...even as an Ed.D, the title is still "Dr."

Eh, I don’t love the dress. But she looks really beautiful and young here

I think she looks great here, very youthful. The Dress is fine.

Youthful? Not with those wrinkles (and the ones they photo shopped out.)

As far as women and beautfy standrds, we are truly our worst enemies. I agree that she radiates a freshness here that does read "youthful" in a way that is not common for most 70 year olds. No one is saying she looks 20, but being wrinkle-free is not the only way to look fresh and youthful. Most attractive women her age are more manicured and done-up in way that can stll be beautiful, but isn't as fresh.

that being said, its sort of sad that we think a 70-year old woman looking youthful is the ultimate compliment. Why cant we appreciate the mature beauty of a 70 year old for what it is without insisting on her looking young at the same time?!?

She's gorgeous. None of us will look that good at 70.

She has a Doctorate of Education, not a Doctorate of Philosophy, PP. Get over it, it's still a Doctorate, a terminal degree, and is a highly educated and accomplished woman.

Print again all wrong scale/too large for her smaller frame.

Hair again a miss. Overly bleached/all one color with bangs and sloppy styling. Makeup foundation wrong color and lipstick could be rosier.

PP who contends she could be positively stunning with pro stylists. First priority: update the hairstyle!

You do realize that she had pro stylists for the Vogue shoot, right? The best of the best.

About Jill’s hair? Lol

How soon we forget. No, dummy, Melania didn't get a Vogue cover despite begging for one.

..

I think she looks really pretty. As a side note, Laura Bush looks really stunning in her picture. And Michelle is just phenomenal.

What I think most of you are missing is that she's not TRYING to be particularly fashionable or stylish, she wants the general public to think "oh, she's just like me" and she's doing a very good job of that.

Wow, Jackie O, Michelle Obama, Barbara Bush, Laura Bush, Nancy Reagan all maintained their general appearances after the terms were completed.

But Hilary Clinton?? Man, she took a nosedive. She looks very pretty in the Vogue photo, but the years have not been kind to her.

PP of course there were pro stylists on site: they did an awful job.
Makes me wonder if Jill dismisses or refuses their input and or advice.

She wants to look like herself and not all glammed up. She's a 70 year old teacher, not a 50 year old former "model".

Vogue: Where you can be the least fashionable person in a room but still get a cover, cuz atleast you’re a dem.

Obviously we all know she didn’t get this because she looks good (she doesn’t). She has the right politics. Well good for her I guess. Looks won’t get you everywhere in life and they didn’t get her to Vogue.
