To murder someone with your car and then get law enforcement to help you cover it up is one of those things that’s just chillingly horrific. Either he was distracted or drunk and he just let the guy die on the hood of his car, then rolled him into the ditch. It’s horrifying. |
Manslaughter. In any case, it's MAGA morality in action. The guy's face went through Ravnsborg's windshield, depositing his glasses in Ravnsborg's vehicle, but, when confronted, he stuck with his "yer darn tootin', you betcha, gee willikers, I thought I musta hit a doggone ol' deer" heartland schtick and it worked. Lie, then lie some more, then lie a little more, just for good measure. Repeats steps 2-3, as necessary. MAGA! |
Also, the Sherriff who responded on the scene to help Ravensborg on the night of the crash is DEAD. https://www.bhpioneer.com/local_news/sheriff-volek-s-death-like-his-career-shrouded-in-mystery/article_52c205f2-3d90-11ec-8048-533e8103029c.html |
Agree. Anyone who doesn't know the difference between a man and a deer should not be driving or be AG of any state. Nothing will happen to him and he will send the obligatory "thoughts and prayers" to family of the hit and run. |
“If that was the case, he had to pass very close to the dead body of Boever, 55, who had been grievously injured in the crash, his right leg severed and his body terribly damaged by the impact. His face had come through the windshield, leaving his glasses behind.” This doesn’t speak to the sheriff’s murky circumstances of death but wtf. How fast was Ravensborg going? That’s just a really tough article to read all around. |
Local news in SD has been covering this story doggedly. |
Read the thread above on the evidence presented at the impeachment trial today. He was within 3 feet of the body, with a flashlight. |
Must be suicide. |
