So who here went to the ballet coronavirus party?

From what I see on her Instagram, her life is pretty....basic. At least for the average upper NW/Bethesda resident. I can't believe she is considered a socialite/it girl. Furnishings average for the area, clothing is the same, vacations not that extravagant, etc. Maybe getting kids haircuts at the Four Seasons is a bit much, but again, that isn't' too extravagant if convenient. And I don't find her very attractive - Candace is much prettier.

+ 1

Ashley’s Instagram wasn’t what I was expecting after seeing Candace’s. Candace’s is full of professional shots. She’s clearly hoping to become a big influencer.

Ashley’s is full of iPhone photos like the typical suburban mommies around here.

Her vacations are nothing to write home about, either.

Candace is using Ashley to move on to bigger and better things and their series should be interesting to watch!

Thank you for this clarification.

We decided not to include Spring Valley in our house search given it was a munitions dump during the war. Definitely more house for the $ there if you don't mind the added risk.

Because you are sane. You’ve got to feel bad for people who bought before the known issue. But those who bought after, especially with kids, have a broken risk meter. Just stupidity. And it plays out in different ways, as we can all clearly see now.

As a SV mom not friends with these people - this above is all false. You get letters before you even buy and quarterly updates from the army corps- it’s all public info too. Large parts of the neighborhood have been cleared for 50+ years. Just report facts is all. I came to see if any numbers have been confirmed. And while I’m at it - I can probably bet there wasn’t another SV kid at her camp or a SV couple at that dinner either. Don’t take a swipe at all parents of a neighborhood for her mistakes.

My dear SV mom, just so you know, your "bet" that other SV kids or couples were not there and so cannot be infected is not a fact. I know you take the title of "SV" very seriously, but that doesn't let you turn conjecture into reality.

So did she just rewrite history about the timing of her test? Can she get away with that?

Guess you can't prove that she got tested before the event rather than after. Thought it was surprising she got the test results so quickly.

Unless they get sued and they have to provide information....

Anonymous wrote:Wow, you guys are the classless ones ripping apart a fellow mom this way, discussing her looks etc. How gross. - you should honestly be ashamed by some of the comments. She made a huge mistake and now she is paying for it big time - having a virus, probably wondering if her family are going to catch it, dealing with the media fallout. My kids go to her kids school, and her kids are super sweet. I don't know her well at all but I know she doesn't deserve this.

This sounds like an entitled, senseless mom defending another entitled, senseless mom. She chose to prioritize image and standing over the health and wellness of people she loves and people dependent on a paycheck during a worldwide pandemic. I think a little roasting is in fact probably well deserved. Has she said what steps she has taken to help the catering staff who is out of work for two weeks? No and why do you think that is?

She does not think about who is may be affected by her reckless actions because in her mind she is the center of the universe, and everyone else is lucky to be a secondary or tertiary concern. And why in the world are you dragging her kids into the mix? Please go to back to sipping your froze and pondering your next purse purchase.

Not normal to intentionally live in an area where you get quarterly updates from the Army Corps of Engineers about munitions in the neighborhood. That is a stupid decision.

When is she supposed to have known the results?

It's easy to bag on this woman but there are a LOT of people acting irresponsibly. The party host is among the worst of them for sure but the schadenfreude is strong here because she's a 1%er.

I would love to know what the River teachers think of her. Teachers know everything. If they say she's nice, she's nice. If they say she's awful...

I agree. I know many people have hosted socially distanced outdoor cocktails (with no masks),

Wow, the cost of the River School is 38K. My DC's Upper School is 39K.

Is it that good?

With 2 hosts, 24 guests, 1 photographer, and catering staff? That sounds a little large for a pandemic.

No the 22nd, is at least when she told someone who went to the party. She may have known before then.

Eh. She isn't a 1%er. Her father-in-law is the one with the money. He made his money. I'm sure he's not too pleased with her at this point.
