The poll numbers indicate that most Americans support the current distancing measures and the protesters are mainly MAGA folks. But leaders would do well to pay attention because the longer this goes on, the more restless people will become, and it won’t just be the Trump supporters protesting anymore. In contrast, if people feel like the government has their back, they will be more likely to comply.

I get concerned by the number of folks who don’t seem to realize how long this may go- even as things slowly open up, things will not return to normal for a long time. There are many small businesses that will likely not recover.
