who is shifting? staff? Board members?

Not sure what PP is referring to but it looks like the AEM crowd hasn’t given up yet.

They’re not exactly the brightest bulbs in the box.

They still have zero concern for neighborhood kids going to Taylor. They don’t even know their own FARMS rate (39.41 doesn’t sound as good as “over 43” I guess).

I love how they throw out the accusations of racism when someone who is not a sycophant dares to post a comment on one of their discussions. Crazy Key Teacher is THE WORST! I hope I never meet her in real life.

I’m actually surprised she still has employment with APS

Yes, they clearly DGAF about the non-Spanish speaking, FLES/EL students living right in the neighborhood.

They are so so selfish. It’s quite appalling.

But everyone else should be ashamed.

Latest McKinley ridiculous statement...that years ago the area had both Reed and McKinley as neighborhood schools so it's ridiculous to say now that they can't both be neighborhood schools. Uh, completely ignoring that they were much smaller schools then!!

I can’t believe someone suggesting getting their 2nd grader involved. *sigh* If a kid moves schools, they will be fine. The parents set the tone and anyone getting their kid involved is failing at parenting.

I think they have actually convinced themselves that non-Hispanic poor English learners are somehow better equipped to face challenges, which is actually pretty racist on a couple levels.

Discovery wasn’t even around then. Not a meaningful comparison.

I do wonder if they have self-awareness. Do they realize they are the same five people responding to every Key post and attacking anyone who doesn't agree with every aspect of what they say? I'm pretty darn liberal, but some of them are beyond parody.

And there was no Discovery.

If someone thinks they are a great champion for integration and diversity but chose to live by Discovery or in Cherrydale, probably aren’t that self aware.

The ganging up on the lady who correctly pointed out that crazy key teacher used "equally" instead of "equitably" is just unbelievable and reaches a whole new level of "unbelievable."

Where are the emails posted? Do they include the people’s email addresses? I keep meaning to send an email (in support of the move) but I have several friends who oppose it and don’t them to see my e-mails posted!

I imagine anything written to the school board is information that can be collected though FOIA. Perhaps the issue is not so important to you if your primary concern is that your friends will see your email.
