Feedback on VLC Club Lacrosse?

How have the numbers been at the high school team tryouts? I’ve personally observed VLC kids at the NL tryouts. I’ve also heard of a few defections to other VA clubs. Should VLC families be concerned?

Concerned that kids at the bottom of the roster may be going to multiple tryouts? Why should a family be concerned about that? What year are you talking about? '21 teams should see very little movement. Why change teams the last season of club? '22 teams maybe a few players here and there may leave like with all teams but usually they upgrade with the additions and subtractions, '23 is VLC's strongest team and it is unlikely they will have a lot of turnover. At the HS level all teams really do not change that much.

Rumor mill has it that 2021 lost their only FOGO and their superstar LSM. My guess is that the downward trend for college placement seen with the 2020s is scaring people from the club.

Why do you care? If you are a VLC parent or player, are you going to NL tryouts to observe or try out? If you are a NL parent, that's more than odd and why be a weird troll.

in the past, rosters were be populated and published on a rolling basis as kids are registered - parent Crab club had tryouts last weekend but no rosters have been been published yet so you might expect a 1 week or more before you see anything.

Why do you care?

If trying to decide about competing offers one factor is the overall quality of the roster. It’s a small lacrosse world. At least by high school, everyone has a good sense of where everywhere else fits in.

Which age group? If you’re a new player, you’re going have to go how the team did last year and how they looked at tryouts, and of course the coaching. Rosters won’t be avail before decision deadline - if team talent deciding factor
