If true, not for long. Plus the previous administration didn’t start the war that was responsible for the previous administration’s high.

While watching my kid’s sports practice, one of the parents commented on the high price of gas. I know all the people around me were Trump supporters. All were complaining about the over $4.25 were now paying locally. One person has a diesel truck and is paying over $5.

I wanted to scream, “thanks guys, this is on you,” but did not.

It'll be lost on them. They've probably convinced themselves that Sleepy Joe and Hunter Biden conspired to steal the gas price lever from the Oval Office.

Here’s literally a Senator trying to blame this on Biden

It's getting tougher to differentiate between potential Onion headlines and actual headlines.

Lolz that made me snort. She placed her right hand on her chest, for emphasis, "I'm an Idiot." What can I say? No more words are necessary, and then she apologizes to us all.

Well, Lady, it's a little too late, and I don't accept your apology. But you made me laugh during grim times, so I thank you for that.

JD Vance: "Look, gas prices are up. And we know they're up, and we know that people are hurting because of it. And we're doing everything we can to ensure they stay lower. This is a temporary blip. Joe Biden ... "

“The attack against the heart of Iran’s gas infrastructure marks a key escalation in US and Israeli military operations. The two countries have until now largely spared Iran’s oil and gas sector and helped to keep a lid on the global oil price surge.

The oil price climbed towards $110 a barrel on Wednesday afternoon as the mounting threat to the Gulf’s oil and gas infrastructure fuelled concerns over more disruption to global supplies”

Guardian

That’s double the price per barrel on Feb 27.

Don't be surprised when some of our infrastructure has attacks, because Trump WANTS that to happen here.

"Elections have consequences." Plain, simple, non-judgmental, and matter-of-fact. I've been saying that a lot lately. Seems nicer than "this is what you voted for, you get what you deserve, leopard is eating your face", etc.

Israel is striking major oil & gas field causing oil prices to skyrocket

Is Israel trying to crash the whole global economy????

There are shortages of major chemicals dervied from oil here in the U.S. (urea, nitrogen, sulfure) critical to the fertilizer and other petrobased chemicals industries.

Why are they striking oil producing infastructure???

Are they trying to cause a global recession?

What are they doing???? What are they thinking?

I want to rip my fing hair out!!!!!

And that was before Trump blew up the energy infrastructure of the Middle East. This is all Trump’s fault. He alone did it.

Gas is 3.84 national and diesel $5.06

Looking at the numbers. 20 million barrels a day(mbd) are in the gulf. Of that about 7 mbd goes through the east west pipeline. Iran ships out 3.5 million a day. World surplus before this war 2 mbd. The SPRs of a bunch of countries are releasing 3 mbd. So a shortage of about 3.5 mbd.

Before the conflict started oil stock were high because of low prices. World oil stocks before the start of the war was 8,200 million barrels. Most of this is trapped in the gulf and in SPRs. Still there is some stock to get through.

Now if Iran, US or Israel start hitting oil facilities price will really take off. The Iranians are more than capable of hit the east west pipeline. It is over 700 miles longs with no defenses and the world deficit would go from 3.5 mbd to 10.5 mbd over night. If oil fields are hit that locks in the deficit for years.

If this does not end soon gas will be above $5 a gallon. Most likely in the $6-$7 range by late summer. Yipes!
