We don’t get oil from that area. |
| Gosh, gas prices must be really high in California. |
|
Many people don’t make the connection between president’s decision to go to war and rising prices. For them going to war just happens. Media uses passive voice all the time to hide those responsible. It’s like when they say “jobs were lost.” People don’t really lose their jobs, like you would lose your keys. Companies fire people or make redundant. |
| Today’s national average gas price is $1.28 lower than the previous administration’s high. |
There is a reason you haven't provide evidence for this claim. |
If true, not for long. Plus the previous administration didn’t start the war that was responsible for the previous administration’s high. |
While watching my kid’s sports practice, one of the parents commented on the high price of gas. I know all the people around me were Trump supporters. All were complaining about the over $4.25 were now paying locally. One person has a diesel truck and is paying over $5. I wanted to scream, “thanks guys, this is on you,” but did not. |
It'll be lost on them. They've probably convinced themselves that Sleepy Joe and Hunter Biden conspired to steal the gas price lever from the Oval Office. |
|
-Well MAGAs don't mind. It's worth it to rid the planet of brown non-Christian people, it's all part of doing the Lord's work.
Plus the war is complete. Gas prices will come down any day now
|
It’s a global market, dear. |
I know y'all like saying this, but context is important. The prices were rising at that time once we started going back to somewhat normal lives in the aftermath of COVID. And then, Russia attacked Ukraine, causing disruptions, reading to higher fuel prices. This one is entirely self inflicted. |
