Purely soccer related in terms of quality of soccer player

1. P4
2. High end Mid Majors
3. High end D3
4. Mid mid majors
5. Lower level D1/Top level D2
6. Lower level D2/Almost any NAIA
7. Lower level D3

Best blend of academics and athletics

1. P4 elite schools (Duke, Stanford, Vandy, etc)
2. Upper half of Ivy
3. P4 very good schools (North Carolina, Texas, Michigan, UVA)/Bottom Ivys (Brown, Cornell)
4. D3 elite schools (MIT, WashU, Hopkins)
5. Mid Major elite schools (Purdue, Boston College VT)
6. All other major state schools (Illinois, UCSD)
7-10. Lower level D1, Any D2 or NAIA or lower level D3)
lol that list. UVA Michigan UT.. 3… nope. Anything blended with sports you drip IVY. A Top public school.. and 2 top 10 engineering schools. Sorry D3 is going to be comparable to no name D1 schools.

Mid major means a non-P4 conference. BC, Purdue, VT, Illinois are all P4’s.

Yep. But I get the point. University of Chicago significantly higher academic than VT and not that far behind in terms of soccer talent. VT 0-8-2 in the ACC this year. Doesnt scream soccer elite.
all depends on major. But you die by that sword. Will say again in terms of soccer D3 is not an accomplishment.

D1 is barely one either. But all players see their soccer careers dead ended somewhere.

Actually we had two closer games with two better teams in the past month. So we don’t really care about that result. By all means keep being full of yourself.
VRSC still a farce program. Congrats on your last championship cup.

Seriously, where is the VRSC #Onefamily guy and the guy rubbing Champions Cup in everyone’s face? They’ve been very quiet since Monday. The win and tie results were from the youngest age groups. Do you think those players will want to stick around, I don’t.

We’re still here. Just enjoy other chiming on how the OneFamily is spiraling down on that gamble buying out Chris and his crew from FCV and making promises to young girls and their paying parents for such a god awful showing in these tournament which presence didn’t earn and were put in automatically. At least their drunkard parents are able to maintain the influence in check - have you seen them with coolers in early am games during the fall? It ain’t coffee what they’re drinking

So you think "blended" Ivy schools are better than Duke/Stanford/Northwestern? Guess it depends on your x/y axis. If you put SAT on one and final college poll on the other one Ivy nowhere near upper right in women's soccer. Not even close
no UVA UT UNC Mich are all above your IVY flex if you are a elite soccer player. Keep trying.

Best to remain silent and be thought a fool than open ones mouth and remove all doubt. Although we could tell without you saying anything because you cant figure out how to format a simple quotation.

His DD lost badly, but don’t worry they had two closer games then the 3-1 loss to VDA!

The tournament was a disaster for the former FCV coaches. Really bad coaching all around. Most of the younger teams see that this club is a dead end and will be looking for better opportunities as a result. There will be the same kick ball players who ED loves and play the entire game will stick around making this club further into the hole. OneBigFailure.

You sound unhinged and like a crazy loser.

Let it go, the GA clubs got one that your kid didn't.

+1. FCV rarely developed young talent but, as a top program in the DMV, they were able to poach talent in the GA years. Poaching talent in the GA years is not an option for Rev, there are too many higher quality teams in the area. So, they need to develop young talent, but Rev has no idea how to do that.

There are three GA coaches. CC is FCV. MJ was FCV long ago, but he was not a GA coach there and he joined VRSC several years before CC. JU has nothing to do with FCV, he came to VRSC through their boys program. I feel no need to defend FCV, but it’s VRSC that this tournament was a disaster for.

As a VRSC parent, I can say that they are not perfect but no club is. You will find good and bad reviews on any club in the area. I was not a fan when the FCV crew came over. It changed the club for the worse. The club WAS focused on player development but no longer. They are like every club promising development and pathways but will always place an external player on a higher team because it means a new revenue source. Its all a business and it's why US soccer will always trail international soccer.

Will we leave, no. Why, because the devil I know is better than the devil I dont know. If my DC's teammates leave, then that could change if we stay.

We left before the Fall season ended. Just in our age group we know at least 3 girls going to NVA and VDA respectively
