You people are crazy. You wonder why I say this, read the posts. Change clubs, like everyone else. To sit here and accuse people of being fascists and whatever else, and just not just move is out of control. Leave, vote with your feet! Act like responsible adults and don’t smear peoples on an anonymous messenger board, when you could just move, now. WTF is wrong with you? This is a youth athletics board, if you are unhappy go! I am sure the other 99% of parents that are happy would be happy to see you go. Just shut up and go. It is unhinged to complain this much but not just leave. And if you are leaving, let it go.

One of the coaches or maybe Karl has become unhinged. Why not just operate with basic morality instead of criticizing your customer? This thread is about soccer at the showcase, not your self important cringe. The coaches that have no standards need to move on We make the club. We pay the fees. FU. Clearly the PP struck a nerve. Why do people freely expressing their opinions threaten you?

My DD previous coach was essentially forced to remove itself from the club when the new clowns on the director ship brought these other FCV wackos - how should those coaches who actually made VRSC feel seeing other people with ZERO relationships to families and kids, no connection to club and area, and receiving much less payment per team, feel? Enlighten the populace arselicker

Actually we had two closer games with two better teams in the past month. So we don’t really care about that result. By all means keep being full of yourself.
VRSC still a farce program. Congrats on your last championship cup.

Seriously, where is the VRSC #Onefamily guy and the guy rubbing Champions Cup in everyone’s face? They’ve been very quiet since Monday. The win and tie results were from the youngest age groups. Do you think those players will want to stick around, I don’t.

We’re still here. Just enjoy other chiming on how the OneFamily is spiraling down on that gamble buying out Chris and his crew from FCV and making promises to young girls and their paying parents for such a god awful showing in these tournament which presence didn’t earn and were put in automatically. At least their drunkard parents are able to maintain the influence in check - have you seen them with coolers in early am games during the fall? It ain’t coffee what they’re drinking

Those parents sound like my kind of people.

The tournament was a disaster for the former FCV coaches. Really bad coaching all around. Most of the younger teams see that this club is a dead end and will be looking for better opportunities as a result. There will be the same kick ball players who ED loves and play the entire game will stick around making this club further into the hole. OneBigFailure.

+1. FCV rarely developed young talent but, as a top program in the DMV, they were able to poach talent in the GA years. Poaching talent in the GA years is not an option for Rev, there are too many higher quality teams in the area. So, they need to develop young talent, but Rev has no idea how to do that.

As a VRSC parent, I can say that they are not perfect but no club is. You will find good and bad reviews on any club in the area. I was not a fan when the FCV crew came over. It changed the club for the worse. The club WAS focused on player development but no longer. They are like every club promising development and pathways but will always place an external player on a higher team because it means a new revenue source. Its all a business and it's why US soccer will always trail international soccer.

Will we leave, no. Why, because the devil I know is better than the devil I dont know. If my DC's teammates leave, then that could change if we stay.

It's time to cut our losses and move on. The girls side ga coaches are just bad.

The FCV Coaches (CC,MJ,ED) are bad and the parents that followed them are bad too. We were fine before they came.

Agree. These parents tell the coaches who gets to play and when. Coach can't make their own decisions because they don't actually know much about coaching girls soccer.

+1 it is really bad. Coach can't put a player in another position because mom immediately emails him and creates drama. Coach doesn't start a FCV player and immediately gets an email from mom.

Sorry, unfortunately for me I have watched College soccer and it is horrible. Lots of pushing and kick & run.

Correct, womens college coaches want speed, aggression, 1on1, and kickball. They specifically dont want to develop skills and team play.

So WTH are they playing? Because that's not soccer. It is horrible to watch. Players have no skills. They just push, kick and run. No first touch or skills whatsoever.

Zero accountability for the chosen few favorites who can do no wrong. Zero accountability for the coaches also. One player allowed two goals for same reason and coach blamed the other player twice Maybe it was because they were a year older and coach needs to justify their decision to play them the entire game.

This particular group of coaches operates like a union and band together so they don't have to actually work and be accountable to club ownership. All should go.

I agree. They operate as a union. They know who the favorites are (all prior FCV) and take care of those families.

It wasn’t a recipe for success. When Niko brought in his comrade and the crew along with the alleged FCV stars it was only a desperate move to try to get ahead of NVA and Loudoun because after almost a decade of existence they have not produced any tangible growth from a development POV. They still actually think that money solves every problem-these aren’t adults in a pro environment, they’re children being yelled at by washed up ‘coaches’ who didn’t cut it in their place of origin. Here? Milking the p2p until it dries up.

How else do you think you can keep sustaining these “coaches” bloated salaries AND also saving Loudoun United’s gross financial mismanagement and the hole in the budget to the tune of tens of millions of dollars?

American parents in NOVA with high income. That’s how.

Not true or maybe partially true for some. On one team there are numerous new adds which came in from HS teams (but aren't good) and other clubs who get favoritism status. The above post about mom's who create drama because junior isn't playing or junior isn't getting the ball passed to them seems the more likely scenario. These players and parents are very selfish. In one case they made promises to a player to keep them at the club even though that player is mostly responsible for important game loses. Unfortunately, these coach's start favoring these weaker players over the ones who know what they are doing and it's downhill from there. Either way, the coach letting this happen shows how bad (and weak minded) a coach they really are. The next phase, these players leave and things start to fall apart. This happened to several teams at LS a few years back.

Coaching (or lack thereof) has a lot to do with it too.

Could u imagine paying $4k before traveling lodging and other fees the club fleeces you of, only to have the German angry guy, and the Johnsons as your “coach”?? Holy hell what a ln absolute scam

This shows that there are many customers who are not happy with what the Rev program is providing. They don’t seem to be very responsive to widespread discontent. The club could lose champions cup and players will continue to seek the best exposure at all age groups. This will mean players leaving rev…just like last year when some 11’s and 10’s left for vda. If NVA beats rev for champs cup, players will go there. Coaching all around is pretty bad so players will go where they think best. On the girls side, there are many mis steps by the coaching staff and management and it’s likely too late to correct it for next year. Combined with grade level teams, there will be a massive upheaval again.

Heard the coaches are engaged with all players development not just the favorites at NVA and well connected on the recruiting side so we may be leaving if things don’t change.

NVA coaches are well connected with college coaches. They have sent girls to various P4 schools over the past few years.

Almost every club in the area can make this claim!!
