hs soccer is cheaper. They have options. Put that 4-6k in a 529 instead of a soccer club thats not getting you dc any exposure

YOU SHOULD BE FIRED. YOU ARE NOT A GOOD COACH. Go back to REC SOCCER (or washing dishes)! We need a coach who views their job as helping to improve a player or players...not as a paycheck. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE bring in some new coaches! Picking one player and leaving them in the entire game, every game doesn't do the team any good. There's zero accountability. This shows you don't know what you are doing and should go.

This shows that there are many customers who are not happy with what the Rev program is providing. They don’t seem to be very responsive to widespread discontent. The club could lose champions cup and players will continue to seek the best exposure at all age groups. This will mean players leaving rev…just like last year when some 11’s and 10’s left for vda. If NVA beats rev for champs cup, players will go there. Coaching all around is pretty bad so players will go where they think best. On the girls side, there are many mis steps by the coaching staff and management and it’s likely too late to correct it for next year. Combined with grade level teams, there will be a massive upheaval again.

Heard the coaches are engaged with all players development not just the favorites at NVA and well connected on the recruiting side so we may be leaving if things don’t change.

NVA coaches are well connected with college coaches. They have sent girls to various P4 schools over the past few years.

Almost every club in the area can make this claim!!

I wonder which crazy dad you're referring to. I believe playing soccer at any level is an achievement. But I also understand that players want to play at the highest level possible. Unfortunately I've gone through the recruiting process and im not that impressed. (Girls Side) Yes college coaches want the best players they can get. But often club connections and who knows who are what open doors.

Not the coach. Actually just an observant parent. You can not be this upset about one single player. I can personally guarantee if you get a new coach or somehow make a new team, this dynamic will continue. Coaches have personal favorites. This has been going on since the beginning of time. There are 11 kids on the field. Trust me one kid will not win or lose the game for you. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE try a new club and find this out for yourself.

Same player loses important games for the team. Same player punks out big game. Not a good look for the coach. Yet, play entire game. Coach has blinders on.

Their are some really nasty people in this thread.

1. Kids go to GA because they can't make ECNL teams meanwhile multiple GA teams in the area have former ECNL players that did not get cut but just chose a GA club instead for better or for worse. Why are so many insecure and feel the need to be so insulting towards pre-teen and teenage girls?

2. Who cares if a DD goes DIII and why does it bother some of you so much? I think it is trashy putting these players down. Nobody here has said DIII players are better than D1 on the pitch, only that some schools offer a better education than D1 schools.

3. As for VRSC, don't know anything about them other than nice facilities and seems they have some major HR issues. As for coaching, I've always said if a player performs for coach and likes them, they will develop on their own. If they don't like the coach, they should go to another club. This is more a family decision and the parents fault if they decide to stay at a club that is not a good fit. There are plenty of other quality clubs in the area.

its because its become about money and clubs lying. When you up dues and provide bad coaching and lying bad coaches it pisses parents off. Coaches dont develop kids anymore they replace and poach. Then add the fake signing days in which clubs dont really tell you majority of those kids are not getting money to play. (Most will never see field at college who do sign) At high level teams with the time and money investment people are chasing D1 and D2 money.

This whole area needs to condense down to a few super teams

Yes, the girls ECNL patents are nasty. The reason they're lashing out so much is because GA is slowly taking their toys away. They'll continue to say they same things even after their club patches over to GA. Nothing is good enough and everything is someone else's fault. They'll complain even if their kid is on a top team.

Its like the guy that was dumping on D3 college players earlier in this thread.

I like the crazy ECNL parents earlier this thread that were trying to say that the GA Winter Showcase fields in Socal were terrible and how happy they were to be playing in Kansas City (with completely frozen fields). People called them out and eventually started posting pictures from the GA Instagram feed showing green grass on the fields.

No, I'm just a parent that has moved my kids when they didn't like the coach. I'm also on round 2 with my eldest in her senior year of college. I don't know what you qualify as verbal abuse. Everyone is different I guess. Our DDs don't care about yelling, but what made them unhappy was being pointed out in front of the whole team for something they did wrong to the point they want to go hide. After something like that, we would likely just switch clubs unless it got better. It did one time.

I don't think clubs do nothing, which could be a good thing. You can't just fire a coach for one, two, or three players complaining on a team of 18 players. I guess it also matters what the complaint is. If a coach is smoking weed or drunk at games and practices, that would be a cause for dismissal.

Is it acceptable? Again, I think it depends how many players a coach upsets. I have watched BP yell many times at players but not in a abusive manor. I have watched a well known ECNL coach go from multiple teams to none in a matter of two years time. In his case, I think more than 50% of the families complained. He was the type of coach that insulted players during a game in a passive/aggressive manor.
